I cannot believe what I am reading about this young woman.  I spoke to Alena over the course of a few months, and the amount of knowledge and information I received was outstanding! My young gal was shipped across Canada and arrived healthy, confident and so well socialized that anyone who meets her are amazed time and time again. My puppy is out of the very litter spoken of in this report. All I can say is I would and have referred many people to Alena for the quality of her animals simply show for themselves.  

I will never go back to life without a Boston in my home.  Our puppy became more than we honestly ever even hoped for. We knew she would be worth the time and effort it took to get her home, but we did not ever expect such a perfect and smart little angel who was so full of happiness and curiosity. Alena cares about her dogs and if a buyer is serious enough to show they will provide her babies with a proper caring and safe home... She will indeed be the most help and support you could ask for in a breeder.  I will definitely be purchasing other pups from this breeder in the future. 

Web sites that allow permanent postings of false information to inflict doubt, suffering and distress to people need to be stopped. ROR states that they have spent 24 million in legal fees to keep this site up and running, I am wondering how they get that money.  If you’re also a victim from this site, please step up and contact the FBI cyber bulling department. New laws are being created all the time to stop cyber bulling but this site still allows it to happen, in fact they encourage and profit from it. Within a few hours of the above false statement being posted we were contacted by legal firms from the USA offering to deal with this site and offer their services. It’s a million dollar industry posting slander and lies and then preying on their victim’s suffering. This site claims it’s all about freedom of speech but it is clear that profit power over others and greed is their ONLY concern.

ROR has received legal documents and court orders to remove false material, yet it is ignored. How can they get away with that? Web sites like this one that continue to post fraudulent and harmful material causing hardship and distress to the company or person need to be stopped and shut down.

I am aware of other colored breeders that are being attacked using this site and unfortunately no proof or evidence is needed to post anything on ROR.

They never provide a phone number or anything further about themselves. Just fishing for information about a breeder and asked for references at Christmas time (very busy time of year).

Mak B**tons or people that are associated with them are NOT involved in any fraudulent activity.  Mak B… is not a kennel, has never abused dogs, nor has misled anybody.  To insinuate such is only an attempt to plant a seed of doubt, and an intentional action to cause harm and doubt.

As to the poor dogs that died in a fire, that is horrible, but the sad fact is thousands of people and animals die in accidental fires every year. It is appalling that people would even post about a tragedy like this on ROR.

As to the false slander over labra***dle p****ns, it’s really sad that the first person to make a stand against a commercial con-artist and trying to take down his huge puppy mill, is considered the person in the wrong and called a fraud. It's too bad that sites like this allow bully’s to post whatever they want to get back and seek revenge on people. Whoever is posting this crap please seek help.  Are you so full of spite and angry because you didn’t want to buy a puppy???? That does not make any sense??? So who is really the person behind the email that is clearly trying to discredit someone else’s excellent reputation by posting such false info?

Why or who would care to write such a thing 6 months after inquiring about a puppy they clearly were not interested in??  

In regards to the comments posted in the above report. We would like to correct several false and misleading statements.

No one was getting fooled or scammed? M**Boston’s has an open door policy, with regularly updated videos showing their dogs. The web site is always listed on ads, and the locations and a questionaries’ are clearing visible on the site.  (For someone to insinuate that they didn’t know where they were located does not make any sense, as it’s always listed on ads or the web site). We are aware of another breeder that was claiming to be M** Boston’s and this very well could be who these people were talking to this conversation had never happened with us. This person references dogs or parents from Mac Bo… web site as parents to their puppies.

Ask yourself this? Why does someone post 6 month later after inquiring about a puppy that they clearly wrote they weren’t interested in,  which  states they wanted a puppy right away and were going to another colored breeder in Coombs AK COLORED BOSTONS. The answer is because this person was FAKE possible another breeder or really just another breeder trying to make up stuff and run down competition.

Regarding the person that contacted Mac bos…..

A person contacted us in early November asking about a puppy. At that time we might have had one available but was waiting to hear back from another lady. We looked up old emails and matched this partially shown email to his person.

This person called herself Lynda Symonds at Blossom Bakery. If you do your research there is no such place as Blossom Bakery in Victoria and the Lynda was spelled different in the email, it was lyndi.

Sometimes it is necessary to have to deal with opinionated or unpleasant people in the dog industry. People that want to stop breeders or other breeders that will do whatever it takes to discredit their competition.  When people first contact us about a puppy, we chat a bit to get to know what they are like and what they are looking for, we discuss our beliefs and practices and determine if one of our puppies would be a suitable pet for them. If at that time we feel they would offer a good home we will send them the interview questions if they have already not filled them out from the web site. You get a feel for what kind of person they are and what they are looking for this weeds out the looky loos, or snoopy people that enjoy wasting hours of your time.  If  the person avoids answering questions we have ask them or the interview question this shows us that they are not serious, that they are other breeders or just wasting our time. This is necessary when you get up to ten inquires a day, you would have not time for your work, family, kids or dogs.

This person made it clear in the second email to us they were not interested in shipping a puppy and asked about another local breeder as they wanted to meet in person.  I told them my mom was thinking about breeding her pet Boston but they made it clear they wanted a puppy for Christmas and didn't want to wait. They continued to push for references as they may consider trying to get a puppy, so I provided them with what they asked for. We contacted the references to see if anyone contacted them and both respond with NO. It was clear this person did not want a puppy and was not who they said they were. We wondered if it had something to do with the other local breeder as they were asking questions about them. It felt like they were testing to see if we would bad mouth the other breeder. I have had up to 10 emails like this baiting to see what I would say if I would recommend them or not. Emails all coming from Hotmail or gmail accounts.  I responded truthfully and told them our first dog was from AK COLORED BOSTONS. The Boston we bought has some minor health issues with her dew-claw and her eye. She also has a calcium absorption problem which caused seizures but everything is under control and she is a loved, spayed, ball crazy family dog.  I told them that I didn't have any issues with the breeder and if they had concerns to go to her home and check the set up, and talk to her. I didn't think they bred the dog’s parents to our dog anymore.  After sending them the comment over the other breeder I never heard from them again so assumed they went and bought a puppy that AK Colored Bostons as they had mentioned buying a puppy from them and we did have puppies available at that time.

We contacted AK Colored Bostons and asked owner Ashley if they had anything to do with this posting and they said they are going through the same thing with ROR and people attacking them. I also contacted the Lyndi… email and asked why her inquiry well only part of the five emails was listed on ROR. I also asked the person behind the email if they had forwarded the email onto Ashley as they had inquired about a puppy from her. They never responded.

The only reason I would even have thought maybe Ashley could be behind the false posting was the strange couple of emails five months ago and then again late march. Asking a lot of questions about AK COLORED BOSTONS, I know she has several breeding dogs as we have shared pictures and I have been to her place several times before, and for the records I don’t see any issue with her owning several breeds of dogs. Breeding is her life and she loves her dogs. I told both parties to go meet her if they have concerns check her place out.   I don’t know anything about any bad dealings people may have had with her and why they would be posting them on ROR.

 If I hadn’t been contact by a lady that was waiting for a blue puppy from our upcoming litter, stating that Ashley offered to buy out her deposit if she bought one of her dogs over ours.  I would have never questioned or even considered Ashley could have even done such a thing but his left me with questions. Plus some other strange comments.....

I don’t believe Ashley would attack us as we had bought our first dog from her. I really have no idea who or why some one with a fake name and asking about her would then post only part of the email on ROR and then take out the comments in the email about the dog we bought from AK COLORED BOSTONS. It’s very suspicious

We are a CKC member/breeder in good standing (look up CKC Member Code of Ethics) a fraudulent or dishonest person cannot be a member. It’s breeders that are not CKC members you need to wonder why they won’t join or can’t. 
You can also look up pages of wonderful references on Mak web site.  (which will be up and running again soon, it's down for an over haul)
We don’t bred non registered dogs, I may refer puppies that are not mine from other people but we only sell CKC registered puppies from fully health tested parents.

We have also read a few slander postings from show breeders running down colored breeders, saying they can’t be purebred and all colored dogs are not health tested and so on. This is simply not true, just look up Boston terrier’s origins, many of the original dogs were colored.

So before you go on believing the lies posted on ROR realize you might just be the next victim to sites like this, other others like it. Report internet bulling and to the FBI Cyber bully department. To local states contact the mayors the governments the authorities that can change laws to stop sights like this, from posting whatever they want without any evidence. Push to get the laws changed, make a difference in this world. Many people and children kill themselves because of the harm cause from internet bulling, it’s estimated internet bulling is up almost 750%. This site is just one of those sites that is making Millions at the expense of others.

I just wanted to say I had a great experience. I have had many poor experiences and can tell you Alena was friendly, helpful and I have an amazing boston terrier from her. i will be showing her this summer. She answered any questions I had , no she did not answer them immediately. She's a busy woman.  I to had to have my puppy shipped, she gave me the option of meeting in the middle or having her shipped. All she asked for was gas if we met in the middle. Yes that is fair you pay for the dog which includes vaccinations, And ckc papers which is not cheap to have done. she should not half to pay out of her pocket for you to get your dog. It is unfortunate you had a bad experience, however I fell people have the right to know she is not a rip off. Nor should anybody be accused of doing such crule things to animals without having facts. She sent me many videos of my puppy untill I could take her home and I can tell you for a fact she's very loving to all her dogs!  If anyone if the future needs a reference for mak bostons I would be more than happy to answer any questions. I would also like to add I re ibexes my ckc paper very quickly!!

I would like to say that I have a puppy from Mak Bostons and I think your are being over judgemental and overreacting. 

The lady that you mentioned as Alena with the Labradoodles is NOT the same Arena of Mak Bostons. Where did you get this information from?

I found Alena to be very polite, although busy, but she was in fact very helpful to me. Even after I got my puppy, I had questions that were breed specific to which she answered. 

My puppy was healthy and happy. I have the proper CKC forms for her. This was in the Fall of 2013, so not that long ago. She was one of Smokies pups. 

I think you should be a little more thorough and careful before you are so quick to slander someone's name and reputation. 

By the way, I had my puppy shipped, along with another puppy,  myself and her owner shared the cost and "trusted" each other. Have some faith in "strangers" while being smart and realistic about the situation also.
