make me chic manager or owner dishonest city of industry california

I purchased jewelry from this company and it was made cheap. I called in and spoke with a young lady. I explained to her about the chain. She told me to return it and as long as it was not opened they would return my money. So I went ahead and returned it literally the next day in good faith as I Recieved it perfect condition and with a tracking number. I waited a couple days and called to see if they Recieved it. My mistake was not taking down the girls name I spoke to initially on the 2 ND call this girl tells me we Recieved it but the chain is final sale and I explained what the first girl had originally told me and if I wouldn't of been misinformed I probably would of just kept it and save myself shipping it back.

So she refers me to aimee van who is the manager and I explained to her what happened and she apologized for her employee who misinformed me and she then said well this one time I will refund you the full amount since I had previously bought stuff from then prior. On the website it states they charge a restocking fee on shoes with no boxes or opened items which did not apply to me and aimee agreed. So I'm thinking we are set she sent me a email stating my return would take 3 business days to be refunded to my paypal this transaction is march 28 2014, as of yesterday I still have not Recieved my refund to paypal.

I also had opened a dispute with paypal about the money, so anyway I called again spoke with the same girl aimee and she then informed me to close my dispute with paypal because perhaps that's why the refund wasn't going through so I did that and still no refund. So yesterday april 24th I call and ask for aimee and she does recognize my refund issue but this time tells me ok let me check on your refund of 9 dollars and change and I said wait a minute you told me you would refund it this one time plus she charged me a restocking fee which did not apply at all to me. I told her this situation is ridiculous I've called like 4 times for this refund and now your changing your story.

Bottom line this company is dishonest and aimee van is a owner or Manager who does not keep there word and they ripped me off. They do not care about promises they make to their customers. I went ahead and reopened my dispute with paypal and explained to them what happened because not only did she rip me off they never even gave me the option to atleast trade it for something of the same worth? They took all my money and are trying to refund me 9 dollars out of 27? And I have nothing. I have her initial email showing no dollar amount mentioned but just stating I would get a refund. Buyers beware they have cute clothes and shoes but they are sneaky and there website is misleading with small details on returns.

I did understand the terms but she told me verbally I would get the refund this one time with no restocking fee ( because it didn't apply to me the item was unopened) and now she changed her mind and acted like I'm sorry you were mislead. All I gotta say is buyer beware they are quick to take your money but not refund it and give you excuses. Bad business in my book and not a way to keep a returning customer and I hope this report will help someone from going through what I went through and I hope makemechic.com and aimee van will see this because your company is a rip off with cheap made jewelry and pathetic excuses. Not to mention I have recieve zero refund!
