As I happend to read in another complaint against JC Penny, they said that JC Penny is a gouging, loan-sharking credit card interest, (the max that the law allows), for clothing made by forced child labor! 

My wife and I had the most horrific experience with a extremely rude, and nasty, "Management" antichrist named Jennifer while trying to exchange some cheap-made Nike clothes for another. This "Manager" Jennifer was so nasty, and mocking, my wife and I cut up our "Premier" Black JC Penny credit card!

Now, at this location, (we're not sure of all the JC Penny stores), all returns are made at only one location in their store. At that location, an employee named Nikki was working with us to make the necessary exchanges. I also had made other purchase items in our basket.

At first, this employee named Nikki seemed to be friendly, and willing to help. Then, all of the sudden, some big, (((REDACTED))), nauseating "Manager" named Jennifer, came waddling up to the counter where we were standing. I told her we were alredy being helped by Nikki. 

Then, Nikki came back from the other register. All of the sudden, everything I was trying to exchange, (because of cheap inferior quality), was now no longer able to exchange or refund. Apparently, this disgusting "Manager" was told by Nikki that we were returning "too many" things. I'm not sure. All I do know is that nauseating "Manager" Jennifer came over to where we were standing, and began giving me and my wife the nasty talk!

I looked at this nauseating thing and said, "Do you see these two huge envelopes of receipts?" Jennifer answered, "So, what about them?" I answered, "Well, I have a receipt for everything here." Then, the nasty "Manager" Jennifer, said, "There's too many receipts. I'm certainly not going to take the time to check them for this exchange." To make this message much shorter about my experience with this (((REDACTED))), nasty "Manager," I just listened to my wife when she said, "Let's just go. This woman is very rude, and hateful." So, I packed-up my clothes, and we left. Oh, by the way, Nikki said, "Aren't you going to buy the clothes you brought up?" I just simply said, "No, this is the last time we will ever shop in this store again." Then, we left.

Just listen to some great advice another person left on Ripoffreport:

Have you noticed the loan-sharking interest rates that JCPenny recently gouged us on our credit card bills? 
"And we're valued customers?"

Have you noticed how the quality of the clothing in JCPenny department stores has fallen to a new all-time low, yet with higher prices that they call "Fair and Square?"

What can we, as customers, do about this? Simple:
1. Cut-up your JCPenny credit card and tell corporate you're not going to take it anymore!
2. If you do not have a JCPenny credit card, do not apply for one!
3. Boycott JCPenny beginning this Christmas 2018!
4. Tell all your friends and neighbors to join in the boycott!
5. Do your department store shopping at any other retailer except JCPenny!

Bottom Line:
1. Consumers can force a greedy corporation like JCPenny out of business!
2. Don't fall for the phony lie that "Fair and Square" means anything!
3. By the way, for every "No" vote that you see under the heading
    "Did you find this post useful,?" I can guarantee you that it was clicked by someone that works for JCPenny in some capacity, despite the fact that they will say otherwise!

I would say this pretty much says it all!

Finally, however, if you live near Mankato, Minnesota, as we do, remember that a (((REDACTED))), nauseating "Manager" named Jennifer works there, and is there to make your life a complete misery!

Do as my wife and I did: Cut up your JC Penny credit card, and never shop there again!

There are many other stores that don't charge the insane interest as this gouging, rip-off JC Penny corporation!

And, you won't have to deal with rude, lying, hateful "Managers" like Jennifer, at the JC Penny store in the River Hills Mall, in Mankato, Minnesota!

The "Entitlement" driveling comment from "Robert" is inconsequential! My main complaint against JC Penny was the arrogant, rude, and nasty so-called "Manager" named Jennifer at the JC Penny store in the River Hills Mall of Mankato, Minnesota. Apparently, "Robert" just had to ridicule, and bash my report of the horrible experience my wife and I had to endure at JC Penny, and start his unrelated blabbering about shoppers in general, getting "their way" because they thought they were "special" somehow. All of "Robert's" prattling had nothing whatsoever to do with what really went on at JC Penny. 

Then, to add insult to injury, "Robert," who is most likely an old-retired-blowhard, that worked "many moons ago," in a management position, in some unknown, and unnamed company, (allegedly), decided to slam me for not being "respectful" enough, and to tell me that because I was not respectful, (like many customers that he knows about who act as though they are something "out of the ordinary" where he used to work), I was "not able" to receive any respect myself.

However, yes, my wife and I did cut-up our JC Penny card. So what? Just because I happened to mention that the interest rate at JC Penny is maxed-out at the highest the law allows does not mean that I was "whining" about it! I only mentioned it because other people should know how outrageous the interest rate is at JC Penny. So, when "Robert" goes on and on about paying interest, and his other mumbling about paying no interest, if items are paid within 30 days, he's apparently not spending thousands of dollars on items like we do as a family. At least our family can afford to do so.

Nonetheless, it really does not matter what "Robert" thinks anyhow. His "Entitlement" comment is not worth considering, and he is the one, (based upon his use of words and accusations), is the one that speaks, and acts like the "Manager" Jennifer, at JC Penny in the River Hills Mall of Mankato, Minnesota! Oh yes, according to "Robert's" fallacious "reasoning," he's the one that should not receive any "respect" for his insulting, narcissistic thought process, and demeanor.

Entitlement

So what you are basically admitting is that you signed up for a Credit Card without actually reading the disclosures that tell you what the Interest Rate is. You buy multiple Items without looking at the Quality. When you want to return items you expect the employees to sift through your envelope "full" of receipts to try and find the one that matches the item(s) you are returning.

Many moons ago I worked retail at a different Major Retailer and just like JC Penny we had the same sort of "Status" for various customers. By far the rudest, most entitled, and downright mean customer were these customers with an elite status. Working at a Management level I can't tell you how many times I was told by one of these customers in effect..."Do what I want or I will have you fired"(By the way I was never fired and they rarely got what they wanted). Based on how you wrote this report, and described the Employees I can imagine you have this same basic entitlement attitude. So perhaps next time you walk into ANY store, you should treat the employees with some respect..and you may even get some respect back.

By the way their current interest rate on the STORE Card is 26.99% which is actually right on par with a majority of Store Branded Cards. However, like other credit cards you can avoid ALL interest by paying your balance in full each month. If you do that it doesn't matter if the Interest rate is 1% or 99%, by paying it off each month you pay NO interest.
