I am a everyday working citizen, married with 4 children.  At the time I needed extra income and decided that I would get into selling, flipping cars for a profit.  My intentions were to find rare good condition vehicles to sell to customers at a fair low price.  I usually look up bmws and audis priced under 5000.  On Feb 19 2014, I attended an online auction to bid on a 2004 audi a6. I noticed the stream was very slow, and that the pictures of the cars were not showing.  So being in that situation You have to go by the run numbers in which I did.

When it was time for my run number I placed a bid on the vehicle and noticed at 4000 it said I won the vehicle I said to my self something isnt right I know it wouldnt go for that amount. I received an email immediately saying I won the bid of a 2003 orange Nissan Murano. I IMMEDIATELY picked up the phone and called/ emailed them to let them no something is wrong this is not the car I bid on. I even told them of the car I was bidding on. They said they would run the tape and make a decision.  SO they said we see that you bid on the car too soon, and I said how when it showed my run number.

I told them on my side I cannot see what you see due to your slow video connection stream.  I was using a computer from work at the time as well.  The people said it doesnt matter this is your vehicle and we can re run it in the auction next week to try and sell.  I knew at this point I was in danger of taking on responsibility of something I didnt buy. I did not sign the invoice or agree to there terms.  Meanwhile I had a car I previously bid on and paid for it  through a wire transfund, and set up to get it delivered. To make a long story short Manheim said my dealerships account is in Collections and they are not releasing the car I purchased until paid for.

I called the dealership I work under and they were no help, they removed/FIRED me from using there services which enables me from making money. The dealership said they have to close if they cant get balance paid. I said well what kind of dealership closes for 4000 dollars? I realize they are not a real dealership but a fake who makes accounts to get people like me to buy a plan to sell cars.  usaauctionaccess.com is there website if you google it you will get the auctionaccess which is the legit access to auctions. WOW    I am being frauded from both sides and cheated out of my hard earned money. Because Manheim sent the title to this dealership and will also give them ownership of my vehicle.

Reasonable Mistake Rejected by Denver Manheim

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Monday, July 20, 2015

As a first time buyer, I confirmed the sale. However, after i confirmed this I noticed this was the

wrong vehicle.  I have notified Manheim of the problem with there online auction, and they have

updated the online auction to improve mistakes.  I would also like to add that I had a same issue with a

Florida Manheim, however they were understanding of mistakes, and cancelled the sale.  Denver Colorado being unforgiving

of mistakes Denied my claim, and Denied any reasonable negotiations. I will never use Manheim again, and there are other complaints of this problem as well.  And you went to point out the fact about being unauthorized, buy I already Identified that I was under a company that was not legit.  I have reported them to the FBI, and other organizations so there

is no reason for you to even bring that into this picture.  Your company Manheim, Denver Colorado did not care, you seem to be money hungry and have no mercy policy on common errors of a first time buyer.  And since you know so much of who is and who isnt authorized, you should know that 50% of your buyers are UNAUTHORIZED.  We have paid for the vehicle, I am no longer involved in Manheim or ACCESS AUCTIONS, but... I have been doing very well, and establishing a system of auto auctions that will provide better service than Manheim itself.   I hope God has the same mercy on Denver/Manheim and its representatives for this test it was given.  History has proven the hearts of hungry business men in the USA and God will judge!

#2 REBUTTAL Owner of company

You did not adhere to the terms of use

Your own note indicates that you were using a dealership access, and you were buying for yourself.  I assume you are not a licensed dealer and therefore should not be buying cars from a wholesale source.  The fact aht you made an error, the feed wasw slow, or some other excuse is your problem.  There are confirmation questions and you apparently ignored the confirmation questions and confirmed the purchase.  Somehow you think it is the fault of Manheim.

Take responsibility for your error.  You have no one else to blame but yourself.

The company is very unprofessional, also the company is NOT a Dealership and should not be in operation.  I tried to work with this company to get my automobile released, after paying a pass due balance they have released vehicle, but have not SENT me my TITLE.  I have called there 1-888 number for a week and got no answer. First contact made Friday I was hung up on by mr Bailey, Then answered Laura who assured me she did not have TITLE nor did EMPIRE AUTO GROUP. Also said she will start process for duplicate, which shouldve already been done when they released vehicle. I told her PLEASE keep me updated because they do not communicate, and are currently being AUDITED. I feel sorry for those who just signed up and all those dealers who waisted there hard earned money with this corrupt company.  How can a couple thousand dollars shut a dealership down? that means you didnt have any back up money. All the money you took in you spent it....... If one dealer doesnt pay on time, then all delaers will be punished there vehicles will be held until balance clears up. Now the company changed names and got shut down again, so all dealers who purchased are really ANGRY because they are being punished for being apart of a scandelous organization, who thinks they are BMF. They used the name of SIERRA LAVONNE HAYWOOD to start there company EMPIRE AUTO GROUP, she is supposed to be the dealer owner but NEVER ANSWERS A  PHONE, EMAIL, NO contact so to be clear this is FRAUD.
