I purchased a 1997 Rav 4x4 from this place. I purchased the extended warranty and paid cash! Less than 1MONTH later, my brakes were making a noise. I took it to the mechanic and he said the rear brakes were worn and needed to be replaced!

I took the car back to the dealer and they said that if it had happened within the first 2 weeks they could do something but not after 3 weeks. I told him about the extended warranty and he said it did not cover wear and tear...How much wear and tear can I put on a car in 3 weeks?????!!!!! I was incensed.

Don NOT buy a USED car from these people and do not deal with their Finance guy...he will tell you anything to get you too sign up for additional coverage that is not worth the paper it is written on...

Horrible company, horrible experience..they suck

Marietta Toyota Cheats

AUTHOR: Ashley - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 08, 2010

Marietta Toyota has always been a rip off.   Years ago my Toyota van blew a transmission, dropped it right in the road.  The van was 100 miles past the original factory warranty, and Marietta Toyota refused to even negotiate the cost of repairs with me.  They expected me to pay full price for all repairs.

I went to Toyota of America, and they helped me out by putting pressure on Marietta Toyota.  Ultimately, Toyota of America ended up paying for all the repairs, BUT get this, the negotiation process took a month, and Marietta Toyota wanted me to pay "storage fees."!!!!!    YES, storage fees, for the 30 day period that my van sat out in the open on their property.

I filed a lawsuit and handed out flyers to customers on a busy Saturday, right in front of their dealership on Cobb Parkway.  The flyers informed potential buyers of my experience with Marietta Toyota.  The police came and said what I was doing was completely legal, as long as I did not step on Marietta Toyota's property and did not obstruct traffic.

The goons at Marietta Toyota finally dropped the bogus "storage fees," and I got my van back, fully repaired.

Never Ever do business with Marietta Toyota.
