I was looking for a website to download software, I came upon fastdownload.com. Shortly after I signed up for their service and gave them my credit card information, I kept getting a pop up that scanned my comptuer and told me that my computer was infected and I needed to buy their antivirus software. Security something, I will not go back to the website to get the information because it will infect your computer with Malware and it's really hard to get rid of, I had to do a System Restore in Safe Mode to get rid of it.

They claimed that after my 7 day trial (I paid $1.99 for it) I could cancel. The trial was for free software I could have downloaded from the legitimate companies. There was no phone number, no internet address, no way to contact them to cancel. I received no emails except from noreply@marketbill.com to get my password. My credit card was charged another $39.95 after only 6 days. I had to cancel it and have a new one issued for an additional fee by my bank of $10. Total loss: $51.94. Not including the stress of the Malware and the time it took to figure out how to get it off my computer.

On my bank statement, the debit came from SOFT COM with a phone number of 866-277-6181. I tried to call it and got a recording, they didn't even say what company they were. Do not go to the website or your computer will be infected.

hello friends,  I am having exactly the same problem with this company and have undergone the same charges as you.  But what is worse, is that they tell me I need satisfactory reason to cancel my membership otherwise they may not!  Also, the bank inform me that there is nothing they can do about it except write to the company (ha,ha - that will really work !!) and hope they will stop !  They tell me stopping the debit card or even closing my account will not stop them!  Any one else out there suffering like this ?  If so, talk to me   DAVE

The website is fastdownloadzone.com not fastdownload.com and the malware is called Security Tool.
