Marlin Leasing Would not provide payoff information on lease and kept on billing us Mount Laurel New Jersey

We leased a copier through Marlin Leasing. On October 30, 2007 we sent a certified letter requesting the payoff information on the lease because we wanted to turn the copier in earlier. A month went by and we did not hear anything from until we got our next invoice for the monthly payment. We made the payment and also a phone call to ask were our payoff request was. They faxed over the amount to buy the copier. We called them back and explained that we didn't want to buy the copier.

Well again we never heard from Marlin Leasing until we got our monthly invoice. This went on until February 11, 2008 when we received a faxed letter from them requesting information to return the copier and we had to return the letter by February 1, 2008. (10 days before they faxed their letter). We returned the letter to them on February 14, 2008. The letter stated that even though we returned the letter didn't mean we were going to get the return information if a balance was due. As of February 1 we didn't owe a balance but as of February 14th apparently we did and they would not send us the return information.

After going back and forth with even getting my Attorney involved Marlin Leasing offered nothing but sarcastic customer service and threathing letters that we better pay the our bill. I finally had to over-night a check to them and I am still waiting for the return information.

From their letter head (It only say Marlin Leasing on it, no address or phone number on it) to their Customer Service this is just an awful and one sided company. If I ran my company the way they run theirs I would be out of business.

If you have a choice in Leasing companies DO NOT USE MARLIN LEASING. Please feel free to contact me if you want to hear anything else about this company.
