Marriot Hotel and Golf Club at Champions Circle Marriot Hotel, Marriot Hotel and Golf Club at Championship Circle, Steals money from customers uses credit card check in then changes your bill Fort Worth , Texas

I recently stayed at the marriot on championship Circle in Fort Worth on  Championship PKWY fort worth, TX. So they ask for my credit card upon check in for any incidentals like room service or movie rentals etc, sounded like most of the hotels I stayed in and said it was a soft charge not a hard charge and they would only charge me for what I used and it was $28.57 or something like that and was charged to my card, I did use those services however, about a week later I have a $250 charge on my card and was shocked. I called and discussed this with the company and was told it was for a smoking charge that there were ashes in the bathroom and a cigarette pack in the room. Well my wife does do something to her eye makeup heating up some pencil for something. I don't know but the empty cigarette pack was in the room and they said that was enough to "ASSUME" there was smoking in the room. I have to say that my wife smokes and she did so outside in a nicely heated smoking area and an area outside the bar that they have set up for smokers, but instead of throwing a cigarette pack on the ground or maybe not even know that it was empty, whatever the case may be a cigarette pack empty in the room is not evidence of anything. It is not enough to ASSUME that anyone smoked in the room. I have reported this to the bank, disputed it with visa, made a complaint with the BBB and now I am here. This hotel wants to charge a large amount of money for a room that I could have gotten for the same price down the road, and doesn't use unauthorized charges on my credit card. This company has stolen money from me, they took money that I did not agree too. I did not sign any terms and conditions stating I agreed to any charge. There is no signs posted stating they are charging this amount of money, they are simply on the slow season and need to make extra money because the hotel is located in a distant location and basically is an empty hotel. If they need money they should do better marketing to get companies in there. Instead, I will just check and see every company that checks in there, I will let them know what thieves they are staying at. If I can find 2 other people that this has happened to I would love to file a class action lawsuit against this company. Right now I am working with Visa to work on a charge back against this company and if we get enough of those, it raises their rates. This company is running a Scam Travel club, and a scam hotel service.
