We received an email from Mary Smart asking if we would be able to do 7 organic facials for and event she was planning on January 26th. She said that she would prepay for them and to please send her the information on what credit cards our salon accepted and where we were located. We replied with what times were available for the appointments, our location, and forms of payment. She then asked that we please do her a "favor" and add $1,250 to her credit card and western union that money to her driver that would be transporting the facial clients the day of her event. We were to add $60 for the western union fee and an $80 tip to her credit card as well. (She was unable to do any of this in person because she was in the hospital undergoing an ear surgery and her "condition is restricted".) We did not reply to the last email and we have not received anything more from her.

They're going to prepay using a stolen credit card and sheist you for some cash on the side. There would be no facials involved. Anytime anyone mentions Western Union as part of a transaction you can rest assured it's a SCAM.
