MD Child Support is a joke. Its named Child Support enforcement but they do not enforce anything but the fact that you get no real help unless you are on welfare. Took me about 8 months to even get a judgement, now that he owes, he keeps skipping payments and they say there is nothing they will do about it until my daughter turns 18 (she is ony 7!). I am a struggling single mom who count on my measely $50 a week and am set back when I don't get it. He is like 2 months behind already and misses a payment like every other week.
The fact that I am not on some sort of welfare is the reason why they do not enforce. If I was home sitting on my a** collecting a check from the state, they would be on him like white on rice. But since I am a hard working, tax paying citizen, they are getting their money so what do they care. In fact I personally know people who sit on their a*s and collect welfare checks, and THEIR dead beats get put in jail! But oh no, they don't even send mine a letter or anything when he misses a payment. The only enforcement they do is to enforce the fact that you will get no help in this state unless you decide to sit on your a** and have 10 kids, then they will have simpathy for you and help!

You just don't get it do you ?
Just because you have a judgement for child support and it taken out of you ex's check, Does not mean the court's keep a check to see if its payed .
The clerk of court my have a record but that is all. Is up to you to file Compete of court charges on you ex.
Now Quite your pore mouthing go and find yourself a lawyer that will help you file.
If you can't afford one try looking up leagle aid on you computer. And sue the Dead Beat .

I have contacted the dept of child support. His employer garnishes his wages and sends it to the state so they have everything on record. I cannot afford an attorney, as I said I am a struggling single mom and every paycheck I get goes straight to bills and food. No extra. They said the only thing they will do is when normally he would have to stop paying when she turns 18 he will still owe until the remaining balance is paid. They can suspend his license but he doesn't drive! The courts already know because I got a judgement, they say thats all they can do.

You Have to push it !!!
Don't let up . the state will not go looking for dead beat parents. If you are not getting your child support then get a layer and sue your Ex for contempt . it as simple as that .
You are the one that has to push it , no one will come looking to see if you Ex is paying you . If he or she is not Paying, you take action . The courts will take your side but you have to let them know .
