Massey Pest/Lawn Care I called to cancel my service, they came and did a treatment when I wasn't there and so they say, and I DID NOT sign the invoice. Upon calling the local office, then the main office they said they "do Internet

I had allowed Massey Lawn service to treat my lawn and was told that I would be billed a one time charge for 58.00 and would only be billed when I called them, however they came when they felt like it and charged me for each visit, so I cancelled.

Then I decided to cancel my service. I called them and informed them that I would no longer be needing their service. The receptionist said that was fine.

I recieved another bill the next month that stated that they came a week before I canceled! They did not come at that time, nor did I see them come after I cancelled, I contacted the office and they told me that they came before I had cancelled, but I they had no proof OR signature!They called, and actually sent a man to my home that said he wanted to make sure I recieved the invoice, I told him I did but it had no signature, he said okay- I just wanted to verify that you recieved it!

Then the letters kept coming about how they were going to report me to the credit bureau for collections.

I called a coupkle of times and was assured that I could ignore the letters, then I decided to call again this month after another notice and they insisted that I needed to pay it!

In spite of my account of the situation, I decided to tell him that obviously they needed the money more than a severely ill and disabled individual, he said "you do what you have to do," so to keep my credit report in good standing I decided to nsend what I can, which is only a dollar or two a month but it is better than having my credit destroyed by one sad,sad, sadly run company that is obviously hurting for money worse than I.
