Mattress Plus ripoff shows that company is not trustworthy of business and needs to be shown customers are not going to take their BULL Kingsland Georgia

My parents bought a new, FIRM, Serta mattress and box springs from Mattress Plus in Kingsland, GA. It had a 20 years warranty from the manufacturer. It was listed and sold to them to be one of the mattresses that you could be asleep on one side and the partner get up from the other side without waking to other. Also, my parents ask for the mattress that had the extra ban of coils that would not sags from sitting on the side ot the mattress. (My mother was going to have knee replacement and would need to sit on the side of the bed to dress and get her balance before rising.)

They used it for about a year and a half and started waking up after only a few hours of sleep hurting terribly.

We examined the mattress and found that it had sunk in places where their bodies were at night. We turned the mattress around and over. (This was not suppose to be done. The advertisement and papers that came with the mattress said not to turn it over and only rotate head to foot every six months...which we had already tried.) This did no good. They still were hurting.

We called Mattress Plus and explained the situation. They said we could upgrade to the next best mattress for only the cost of the difference. The manager said he would come over on Thursday at 6pm to look at the mattress to make sure it had no soiled places on it and then the new upgraded mattress would be delivered. He never came. We called 4 times before we reached him and he said he was sorry he did not come.

They delivered the new mattress and we paid a $10 delivery fee.

We called Mattress Plus again in two weeks and told the manager that the mattress that they delivered to us was softer and more uncomfortable than the one they had replaced. The manager said "The mattress you have now is the BEST mattress that Serta makes and they do not make them any firmer.

My dad went to the store one more time to talk with them and they again assured him that Serta does not make a better mattress or one any firmer than we have. The only thing they could do was to give my parents the first mattress back and an 800 number to call Serta.

The sad things is that we had purchased two other sets of mattress and box springs from Mattress Plus and loved them. Now we are so dissatisfied we will never reccommend them to anyone and will highly advise others not to shop in their store because they are not honest. We have good friends that have a SERTA mattress that is VERY firm and is an Excellent bed. Mattress Plus thinks we are too stupid to know that Serta is a good company and that they DO make firm a mattress
