I was looking for a job on craigslist, and came across for a DATA ENTRY CLERK, I applied and about a month later recieved this email:  THEN CONTINUE BELOW

Service/Recep/payroll Position, The Hiring Desk  have reviewed your resume for the Data Entry clerk/Administrative Assistant/Cust. Service/Recep/payroll Position and we believe you have the required qualifications to proceed. This is a Data Entry clerk/Administrative Assistant/Cust. Service/Recep/payroll Position, Working hours are from 8am-3pm,Monday-Friday.The starting pay is $24.75 /hr for this Data Entry clerk/Administrative Assistant/Cust. Service/Recep/payroll Position, you are also expected to come online through Yahoo Messenger during working hours.

      I want you to setup a yahoo messenger and if you got one already use it, Add Mrs Darlene Gold the Hiring Manager and IM her on this ID (wrkstation02@yahoo.com) asap for the interview/briefing and comprehensive job details.This is our first step to proceed further. she will be on online waiting for you. Interview Schedule date/time is on Monday 12th of Nov 2012,  @8am to 3pm..

THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY!

I proceded to add "Mrs Darlene Gold" went through a "interview process" and then was told I would need aditional equiptment to do the work. To make a long story short they said "we are sending you a check for you to deposit, and from there you will get in touch with our vendor to get your equipment" THIS IS A FAKE CHECK!!! THIS IS ALL A SCAM!!!

One thing I was unaware of looking for in a scam is bad spelling or grammar (see bold section in "email") Through her IM messages I also found many other mistakes...they are small and seem insignificant but if you notice them thats a red flag! SO PAY ATTENTION!!! It will be to your benifit if you do!
