MBF Leasing/ Northern Leasing / Universal Merchant Services ripoff, deceptive, fraudulant, unable to communicate, they don't respond New York New York

I sign a contract with universal merchant services. The 6 page contract I signed I thought was the contract. The other piece of paper was just authorization to take funds and deposit credit card processing. I thought.

However 4 days into processing the machine fails to funtion properly.Dailing 15 -20 times per transaction and maybe the card would process. Or I would have to manually put in the next day on my time and more cost to me for manually inputing. I made repeated phone calls to customer service. To find no one could help, there was no supervisor to be found, to finally leave a message to have no one return my call. Called my sales rep. He was to send a tech out on Monday. No one showed.

After 71/2 weeks of the mess I terminated my business with this company and returned the equipment to the people who sent it to me. 5 months later I see MBF Leasing is still taking fund from my account. I contact merchant services again asking them to please quit taking $80.36 out of my account as I returned equipment. Finally someone actually returns my phone call. To be referred to another number and then another number. Now I am told I have an uncancellable lease and they can't help me. I ask for supervisor am told she will say same thing. I left to a voice mail box which is asking me for a lease #. Lease #? I still don't know who I am calling. I googled the phone # and Northern Leasing came up.

This is this first I know I am dealing with a second party.I thought it was all part of a packaged deal. 6 months after I have canceled my business with merchant services,I finally get a copy of the lease, faxed to me, 2 pages on one (so small you can't possibly read it) Let alone it was 4 pages of which 3 I had never seen and there are 2 other peoples writing on it. Not only that, some of the personal info was wrong. Where did they get that information?

Now I take a good look at the saleman's work sheet and percetages are figured wrong. I took my own calculator to it and this whole system is wrong.
The sales rep went over this very quickly, I have really been scammed.Why would I sign a contract, when figured correctly, actually costs me more. I wouldn't sign for 4 years when the standard for most reputable processing companies is 3 years

MBF Leasing asked for a written formal complaint. Which I gave them. They say, I don't respond. They never respond except to say pay up. They call every day, sometimes several times a day, sometimes not saying anything. they just hang up. Do they get brownie points for just making the call? Of course I can't prove that it is them. Just coincidental???

I am sure they have leased the non-working equipment to another poor soul. To only have someone else scammed by MBF leasing company who is hiding behind another company.

I urge anyone who has been scammed ripped- off with this company to file with the FTC and anyone else that will listen. As a small business owner it is hard enough to stay in business. Without some scam company trying to help themselves. I ended up closing my checking account out so I could keep them out.
