McAfee Difficult rebate Internet

Bought Virusscan 8.0 with $20 rebate. The required rebate form is impossibly small, and there are no instructions regarding what to do if you can't fit your 10 letter street name into a box a half inch long.

The worst part was the required proof of purchase. Instructions say it is inside the end flap, but there is nothing inside the end flap. Outside the end flap is a bar code, the usual proof of purchase. Logically, you would send that, but if you do, you are doing exactly what they want you to do -- violate the terms of the rebate. Suspicious, I looked inside again, and on the little flap that supports the end flap is a tiny proof of purchase seal. I bought my copy on ebay and send the invoice in instead of a receipt. Whether I get my rebate remains to be seen.
