Im a little tight on my money at this time because of the economy., i had very little money left before the day i get paid,so i have to cut corners. Long story short, I ordered 2 mcDoubles total at the Drivethru, menu price is $1.19. Since theres no sales tax on food, the total comes to $2.38. For some reason i had an inkling that i would get charged more. Well I come up to pay and wallah, I was correct...she said $2.58 sir...my reply is as said..$1.19 x 2 =$2.38. The lady at window was not mean or anything until she rolled her eyes...and said let me get someone in a smart aleck tone. Dont know if this is the Mgr or not She comes to the window tells the same thing and adds that the prices are subject to change.....Keep in mind as with everyone who works...we are all on a time slot...this is our lunchbreak. I dont have time to argue, so I disappointly gave in to the $2.58. My thinking is how items on that menu are incorrect ! Thats what Id like to know. This may Seem petty to some...but I think this Corporation makes enough money without Ripping off the Public. My advice when ordering...check it before you purchase it; and dont let them talk you out of it like Id be done too !

Wrong...

Had you just written it as you saw it, your report would not have added all of this extra "fluff" that really just brings doubt to if you are telling the whole story.  As it is very common for people to add a lot of extra information to try and deflect from anyone noticing they are not actually telling you the important details.

In your case, people could care less if you appear to be $0.20 away from being on the street without being able to eat..yes that is how you came off.  As, if you are truly that desprate you wouldn't be driving(and waisting gas) to go to a McDonalds Drive through.  You would have gone to a GROCERY STORE(many open 24/hrs a day) and picked up a lt healthier food for the same price or less.  At the very least you would have parked your car and walked into the McDonalds and probably saved a good $0.20 in gas.

But we then get to the real "winner" of this report.  Why in the world did you have an "inking" you were going to get charged more?  People don't go to places and every single time think they are going to get charged more, or perhaps you do and this time you just happened to be right?  Who knows.  Could it be something like there was something on the menu that indicated it was now $1.29(x2 brings us to the $2.58)?  Perhaps there was an ad that showed once price and an item that showed the other?  Perhaps there USED to be a sticker over the old price that someone removed?  Perhaps you were charged $1.19 at a different McDonalds and just assumed this one was the same price. Perhaps there is a dozen other things that could have given you this "inkling".

Now, don't get me wrong.  IF by some chance the menu price did say $1.19 and the $1.29 price was no where to be seen you are actually correct..you should probably have been given the $0.20 back.  However, based on how you wrote this that is doubtful.

However, if you truly have some magic ESP that you get these inklings, let me give you some advise.  The next time you are in a convience store and if you happen to get an "inkling" of that night's lotto numbers...buy a ticket.

EVERY fast food business has a sign that say something along the lines of "Prices subject to change". Im sorry but you wasted YOUR time, MY time, and ANYONE elses time who reads this. Its twenty cents. If you added extra pickles or tomatoes that would raise the price. Odds are that YOU have forgotten that YOU wanted cheese on your burger. THAT would also raise the price.. Its amazing that people like YOU still exist!! Why is it ALWAYS the businesses fault?? YOU hop online and defame them and THINK you are safe online. You are blasting them due solely to your inability to remember YOU wanted cheese. I hope that YOU can also act like an adult and accept responsibility for the mistake YOU have made by making a FAKE post.
