This is what I get for not checking my food once I get it at the drive-thru....I ordered a few things, one of them being a Big Mac. I get home, take out the bic mac carton, and it felt really light....I opened it up, and what do I see? The two buns, tons of special sauce, and a USED, FULL CONDOM! No meat, or any of the other stuff that goes in a big mac, just bread with sauce and condom in the middle! Why would there even be a used condom inside a McDonald's restaurant anyway is beyond me, obviously this was done intentionally, as it was too extreme to be just a "mistake". I was horrified that I even had brought this s**t into my house....I drive back to the place, show the manager the "burger", and he begins laughing, accusing me of making it up like the lady who had the finger in her chili. They didn't even replace the Big mac! They didn't acknowledge that I received the item like this at all!

McDonalds..

AUTHOR: Jodi - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, September 09, 2007

First, regarding the initial report, it's obvious this guy is not seeking financial gain. He threw out the condom, didn't call police (until after this report), and doesn't have a lawyer regarding this. So I think anyone with sense would know this is not a financial gain stunt. Now regarding DNA, the whole idea is stupid. If Ricky had a particular person in mind that he could say "he did it" then DNA testing would be possible. To assume that the DA is going to test all the McDonalds workers (which is against their civil rights by the way) to find out who ejaculated into the condom is absurd. Also, the condom could have been found by an employee in the parking lot, or in the restroom trash, or brought in from home by a worker planning a sick joke. My point is that the semen could have came from someone other than an employee. It could have came from anyone, and believe me the cops will be thinking that. I think it's funny that a lot of these people responding think that if Ricky were to have called the police, they would have came rushing to investigate this report. He'd be lucky if the police would have showed up that night. The sad part is that this is the risk we all take when going to any fast food, or restaurant. It is not going to be top priority to the police...sad but true. I probably would have went to the police station, filed a report to have it on record.

What about DNA?

AUTHOR: Rocky - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 08, 2007

I know it was said before but if you had called the police the same night or even early the next day, you could have demanded a DNA test be performed on the fluid in the condom. That way, you would have been ruled out as a perpetrator of a bad stunt and, if they consented, the McDonald's employees would have been tested to see if they matched the DNA.

In any case, if you are being truthful about this, the news media would have been all over the story. Of course, if you reported it to the media and it was your own fluid in the condom, you would have ended up in jail like the woman and her husband with the Wendy's chili finger hoax.

Response for Ricky

Unless you've still got that condom lying around, there really isn't much of anything you can do at this point.

what should I do?

AUTHOR: Ricky - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, September 07, 2007

Well, I knew calling the police the next day wouldn't accomplish much, but I just wanted to know if i SHOULD have called them that night....I would have called them, but once I got instantly accused of falsifying it by the McDonald's manager, and then to hear there was no evidence tapes, I didn't know exactly what I would tell the cops if I DID call them right then....I DIDN'T think of the idea of them testing the stuff and then matching it with tests of the employees, so obviously that would have been the ticket....as far as not backing down easily, I would rather not, but what is there left for me to do at this point?

Whether or not the police would have done anything, this WAS a criminal matter

AUTHOR: Tim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, September 07, 2007

It's hard to say whether or not the police WOULD have done anything about it, but they certainly SHOULD have had you called them.

Intentionally putting a dangerous substance into something that someone could be expected to consume is, in the least, attempted battery (it would be a completed battery had you ate it). It could, in fact, be aggrevated battery, for a couple of reasons. First, you could have choked on the condom, making the condom itself a weapon of sorts. Second, you could have sustained disease from the fluids in the condom, which is tantamount to poisoning (which is considered battery, unless the person dies, in which case you're talking murder).

I'm sure that by now you have disposed of the evidence, which is what I would expect any normal person to do. Had you kept it, however, you could have had a pretty hefty civil suit on your hands. Ronald has DEEEP pockets.

Oh well

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 06, 2007

Had you called the police the instant you discovered this "used" condom in the food, I can assure you the police would have come to you. With all the diseases about (AIDS and such) and the emphasis on biohazards that's now in effect thanks in part to 911, the police would not be fool enough NOT to respond - a little matter of liability, lawsuit against the municipality.

The police could have then gone to McDonald's and reviewed any store security tapes if available and if the tapes were to show someone doing what you claim - presto! You're retired!

Calling the police the next day doesn't cut it for obvious reasons.

I believe that most folks would have raised cane! I would have! I'd call the police and if they didn't repond, then the local TV stations, the county and state departments of health, McDonalds HQ - the list goes on about who I would call. But I digress. You should have called the cops while at McDonalds and the cops could have reviewed any tapes. McDonald's or any other business isn't going to show you the tapes, but they will show them to law enforcement.

You didn't even get a refund, yet you did drive all the way back to them to complain about it. Most folks I know who have a legitimate complaint, don't back down so easily, especially if they are out some of their hard earned cash.

Definitly not false

AUTHOR: Ricky - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 06, 2007

Ok Shawn you idiot, the problem is, since I had left the place and went home already, they are saying I put it in there to try to win a bogus lawsuit over them. without a security camera showing the condom being put in there, there is no way to prove that I DIDN'T do it myself. which is what the police said on the phone. No proof = no case.

I've seen a lot of false reports here

AUTHOR: Sean - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 06, 2007

This has to be the worst false report. Nothing in your story makes sense. Most people in the U.S. when seeing a used condom in their big mac would make much more of an issue than trying to get a free burger. They WOULD call the police, and the police wouldn't ask "what do you think we should do". They would come in, put the condom in a baggy and tag it. Then they would question the McDonalds employees. Eventually, DNA testing would be done to find out who's condom it was. Then, whomever placed the condom in the burger would be arrested. It's pretty d**n easy.

I find it hard to believe that all you asked to do was "look at the security tapes".

If you don't like McDonalds, just say it. It's okay we will actually believe you. However, don't make up false claims.

Dont eat at fast food places

AUTHOR: Gerry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 06, 2007

I have no doubt this claim is true. I have not eaten in fast food places in over 20 years. Even if all things were perfect, that garbage they call food in unhealthy. And why would anyone in their right mind eat after some of the lowlifes that work there? What changed me was 20 years ago the guys at our shop went to get breakfast at McDonalds, They came back and noticed black specs in the bicuit. Those specs were "roaches" baked into the biscuit. I went back with them to the McDonalds and the idiot behind the counter just laughed and gave their money back. Think about it people.
If this report is true, the police should have been called, the health department and above all the media. Calling the media or a TV news show would really hit these dirt bags where it hurts.

Hate To Say It But

AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 06, 2007

IF it WAS actually "used" and full as you say, I would have called the police. They could have taken the item and run a DNA trace and found out if it was really "used" or someone's idea of a sick joke. IF it really was used and the police really wanted to find out by whom, they could DNA test whoever was working that timeframe but I suspect tampering with food is probably a misdomenor(sp) and they're probably a heck of alot of liabilities involved in the testing and it sounds like the manager could care less. That's why I DON'T use the drive thru and check my food BEFORE I eat it.

bodily fluids...

AUTHOR: Jodi - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 06, 2007

Ricky, I believe you!!! I don't know if I would have called the police either in your position, but if you would have taken a bite of the burger, then I'd have called! A USED condom...do you realize what could have happened to you if you'd have even taken one bite? A couple of years ago, on the news there was a story about a woman who had ordered Chinese food. She ate a some, then froze the rest for later. After a few days the woman developed a painful sore on her lip. When she went to the doctor they asked if she had eaten out recently. To make a long story short, she took the Chinese food in to be analyzed. They found that someone had ejaculated into the Chinese food (obviously one of the workers) and now the woman has some from of Herpes Simplex in HER MOUTH!!!! Scary!

Police

AUTHOR: Ricky - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 06, 2007

I called the police today and asked what, if anything, they would have been able to do in that situation, if I had called them then. they said nothing, and that they often get calls for small things like that that they have no control over.

As for my claim being suspicious, I don't know if it's supposed to be considered a "claim", I'm not filing for an insurance benefit, I'm just telling what happened one day at a restuarant.

The police

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 06, 2007

Calling the police would do to things:

Add substantial credibility to your claim.

Police present - the manager most likely would have given you a new burger or refunded your money.

You were ALREADY at McDonald's to complain about it. Just surprised you let it go - especially after being laughed at.

I don't let anyone rip me off and get away with it (if I can help it.) Seems to me that after going to the trouble of driving back to MCDonalds, you should have called the police while you were there. If it were me, I would have demanded a replacement burger or a refund or else the police would have been summoned.

I'm not saying your claim is false, but surely you can see that by not calling the authorities while you were there, your claim seems suspicious.

Police?

AUTHOR: Ricky - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 05, 2007

My initial reaction was asking to see security camera tapes from that day at McDonalds, and the manager told me their security cameras weren't working that day. I didn't think of calling the police, simply because (1) We ARE talking about a $3 sandwich here, not the end of the world, and (2) I have no proof, what would the police do?

Did you call your local police while you were at McDonald's.

I would think we would have seen it on the news if you did.
