MCI The Neighborhood has to be thegreatest ripoff artists on the planet. They turn the flat rate of $49.99 into at least $70.00 with all their surcharges and taxes and a dedicated computer line goes from $19.99 to over $30.00 with all th extra charges. They should be charged for false advertising.
The other problem is th charge they have to move your service - they are charging me almost $200.00 PER LINE to move to the apartment right next door. They do not come out and do anything, physically, they just hit a switch and move the service.
There should be a law preventing them from taking advantage of people like this. They cannot retain my business if this is the type charges they justify to rip people off.

I work for a local phone company in the philadelphia area. MCI, just like every other Major Phone Company could care less, If you get servcice, they tell us to overlook incorrect billings. To only speak on it, when the customer questions it. In fact MCI Unlimited Local Calling plans are limited to 5000 Minutes, then the fees start adding up. My CWA Union suggested we all switch to another company after we were forces to go on a month long Stike. It is the best thing I have ever done. Excel Telecom of Dallas, is always Open, they are the nicest people & they give you a flat rate. Stop paying these Major companies for nothing. Excel even has free Long distance to Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, Canada, Saipan & the Mariana Islands. These are all free calls for the Telecoms to place, yet everybody, but Excel says they are International Calls.
