MCM (Midland Credit Management) Harassing Phone calls San Diego California

Today is Sunday, 9-22-13. Almost 10:00 am local time. i just got the 2nd call of the day from 800-265-8825 which i have verified (from numerous sites such as this one) is from a collection agency called , "MCM" or Midland Credit Management: www dot midlandcreditonline.com

i have now received a total of FOUR calls just this weekend from these people. Completely illegal. The first one today (Sunday) was before 9:00 am. They usually do not leave a message and when they do, it is unintelligible. i have no business with MCM, nor do they have any with me since i have received no letter from them stating as such and it has been over a week since they first started calling.

This is pure harassment at the least, and most probably a scam. i have no intention of talking with them as odds are that will only escalate the situation, not stop it. i have begun filing complaints about them with the government and will continue doing so, including on their own website.

i urge everyone to do the same, including reporting the call on sites such as these. These people are the lowest of the bottom feeders. Do not work with them unless they follow legal protocol because if they were legit, they would not need to use tactics such as these.
