MDG has done nothing but lie to me and now I am in the middle of a mess with them and no easy way out. They are over charging me and while an item should have been paid off by now, they are still taking payments out of my account.

There is no way of contacting anyone in a postion there to resolve this matter fairly and I am at the point where I am going to have to get some legal advice.

What they are doing should not be legal. They have a sales team there that work independently from their finance department, who feed you lie after lie, in which you believe.

Next thing you know, you are paying triple the amount for a broken laptop that expands over a 4 year period.

My advice is to not deal with these people no matter how desperate you are..If you could only see what this company is doing to me, it would make you realize what a complete scam they are.

you do not understand

It is obvious to me that you did not read the full report and that you do not understand what is going on.

2 of your staff members from your sales team had told me that one of the items out of the 4 that I am paying for would be completely paid off a couple months ago. One of those staff members had told me the same thing just before purchasing a new product before last Christmas. This is 2 people who lied to me, one of them who probably just did it to make the sale. His name I believe was Stefano.

This is just all wrong and unless this matter is delt with properly, I will continue to fight for what I believe should have been the right thing for MDG to do, which is honor that agreement.

I have already had words with other people who are on the same boat as myself, and have spoke to a legal representative.

My advice to you

The only reaons they would still be charging you is if you have defaulted on your payments. Your balance doesnt decrease when you don't make payments. The contracts they have tell you how many payments you need to make and it clearly states equal monthly  payments on the date due. Otherwise you miss a payment, the balance doesnt decrease, and then interest is appleid to a balance that is higher than what it should be.

The laptop may be broken, but you're paying back a loan not a laptop. You agreed to pay $X.xx, and until you have satisfied that, no matter what happened to your laptop, you're still legally responsible. Its like if you were to buy a laptop on your credit card, and then you drop your laptop after 6 months, you wouldn't stop paying your credit card would you??? No, because you still owe them money. Same thing applies here.

My advice to you is call the finance deparment and politely speak to someone to ask if they can settle your account. You would probably have to make a large payment or several large payments.

Your dealing with a legitimate finance company, and you risk legal or suffering credit score until its paid, so the sooner you can work it out the better.

Good luck!
