On April 7th, 2003, I received a call from this company known as Media Outsourcing. When they called, their number came up as Out of Area. Normally I wouldn't answer these calls, but because my husband is in the service (Navy), and is overseas right now, I did.

His calls come up as Out of Area as well. Anyways, they said that I was eligible to enter into a $50,000 sweepstakes, and they presented to send me 4-5 magazines complimentary, but they asked that I only pay $3.50 (or something like that) per week. So, I considered, "Well that doesn't appear like a lot of money, that's only $15 a month, so I could handle it." Then she said as part of the promotion, she was going to send me a free diamond watch, so I thought "cool."

Well, they asked for my card #. They knew what it started with, and to myself, I was marveled how they got my #. Of course, like a dumbass, I verified my number. Then, the woman said that her supervisor was going to call back in 5 minutes to validate my order, so I was like "Okay." Well, the so-called supervisor called back, and confirmed my order, but she said that I would have to pay $58.24 a month, so I was like, "you know what, no thanks."

Then she asked me what made me change my mind. I was going to be nice, and so I told her that my husband would kill me (not literally), if I made this purchase, so she was believed to have canceled the order. But, by that time it was already drafted out of my bank account. So, she lied to me. The worst part is that I am still waiting on a check to be cashed, and so because of this company (or whatever they would like to call themselves), my bank account is going to be over drafted. Scumbags.

Well, I called my bank, and told them the problem, and they gave me the number for media outsourcing...724-229-9115, so I called them, and of course, they are showing no record of the draft...liars. I spoke to them several times yesterday, but still no use.

Well, when I called them this morning @1-800-860-6525, they denied everything, and I even threatened to call the Better Business Bureau, but they didn't care. When I spoke to the woman again, she said they no longer handled my account. Bull s**t.

Well anyways, you can see how upset this makes me. Because of their dishonesty, I had to cancel my debit card, and have a new one issued to me. I have a newborn, and I need money for her. I hope they rot in hell...

Wrong phone numbers

Your writer has put the wrong phone numbers
on her complaints. Some how our company
phone numbers have been put under
Media Outsourcing. We told Misti when she called
she had the wrong Company and needed to contact
Media.

Meida's number is 1 800 367 2921
I do not have a direct number to give you.
I wish you could remove our phone numbers
from the customers complaint. And give Media's
correct numbers.
