On December 18, 2007 I ordered their gold membership for 9.95 a month. It came with a thirty day trial period. I cancelled this membership on January 13, 2008 via email. On January 14, 2008 they sent me an email reply saying that my mebership was cancelled. On January 17, 2008 they charged my creidt card for the 9.95. I caled them and they said they would look into the matter and I never heard anything back from them. I contacted my bank to dispute the charge and they refunded my money back.
On February 19, 2008 they have once again charged my credit card for 9.95. All people need to be aware of the fact that this so-called established company is engaging in fradualent business practice and will ripoff any and all people who want to do business with this company. BEWARE AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MEDIC ALERT.

Medic Alert has saved countless lives world wide due to their data base and reporting system. Recipients of ICD units and pacemakers have their membership included in the cost of the devices. My wife is a cardiac patient and survivor due to Medic Alert.
I'm sorry if you've had billing issues but DO NOT discourage this tremendous service!
