Mega Life & Health Insurance Company Mid-West National Life Insurance N.A.S.E RIPOFF -HELD UP WITHOUT THE MASK Ripoff North Richland Hills Texas

Jan 2005 my wife and I signed up for family health insurance with Mega Life & Health Insurance company. Being told and lead to believe that we would be Insured for Emergency room coverage with a $100.00 deductable per person(this coverage was important for us to get clear with the aggent. The Insurance aggent was made aware we had just been through this mess with a different health Insurance company, we wanted Emergency room and Major Medical.)The aggent said no problem.

Jan 2007 was the first time any of us had to use this Insurance for an Emergency room visit for uncontrolable stomach pain. The bills totaled $3765.37. In Feb 2007 This company paid only $432.62, when we confronted this problem with Mega Life Insurance, they responed in March 2007 by taking BACK the $432.62 and stating that they did not have to pay anything because what they really meant was we were only covered for accidental injury.

We waited on the phone for 45 minutes to speak to a manager with this company. We explained how we entered this with good faith, and we now question this companys integrity, their means to confuse, mislead, and plan out lie to people. Even though we were extremely clear on what we wanted, and was told accidental was the same as emergency. This manager was told we want all our premiums back for misrepresentaion from January 2005 through March 2007. Its May 7 2007 and we have yet to see a check.

There policies are written by attorneys for attorneys, Good people like us can not afford to continue to play games with Companys like Mega Life Insurance for our health Insurance needs. Our next step after contacting the Insurance Commissioner of Wisconsin, will be Legal and class action law suit information. My best advise for someone looking into Insurance from this Insurance provider- they have many names -N.A.S.E/ Mega Life & Health Insurance Company/Mid-West National Life Insurance. Look for OTHER Health Insurance companys that are not listed all over the rip-off report.
