It is a scam - hang up on them

AUTHOR: FloridaNative - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, July 01, 2014

It is most definately a scam.  If you had won two million dollars from Mega Millions, there is no doubt that the tax money would be deducted from the proceeds before you get the balance. The tax money on two million is a lot more than $300.

They keep calling you because you haven't been firm enough with them to hang up. Go to the FTC(dot)gov website and read up on consumer scams so you know what to look for and when someone calls - when to hang up.
