Melaleuca is supposedly healthy products made with safe natural ingredients - this is a lie, in the eyeliner there is a ferrous ammonium ferriccyanide  and shellac- on the list of unsafe cancer causing products according to the FDA not that it takes a genius to know you don't want shellac and any kind of cyanide near your eyes.

The ingredients in the "healthy shakes" are the exact same ingredients as anything other ordinary store brand just as many chemicals, fat, sugars and junk .... they just cost more.  This goes for the shampoos and most of the other products I checked into.

The cost is supposed to be lower or just as low as Walmart - this is a lie even before you add the shipping.

I was told that this was not an MLM and that there would be no pressure like the other MLM's to get a list of all your associates and friends to recruit - that is the very first thing they asked me to do... and there was pressure every day to go to online meetings.

They all tell you that over 96% of the people who try it continue to order - no one liked the stuff that I introduced to the product.

It is an MLM in every sense of the work I can't magine how it got labeled as anything else - you make money off everyone you recruit and down the line and up the line etc. And that would have been the least of my objections if I could have promoted a really healthy environmentally safe product.

It is not a wellness company, it is not an honest company because every one of the directors seems to advertise not for Melaleuca but for one or another Home marketing system - they do not tell you the name of the company until you agree to watch the video and they ask that you do not openly tell your friends the name of the company until they are watching the video... after the video it is high pressure selling over the phone.

Which I would not have minded if it had been a really healthy safe organic product that surpassed the usual store products... but it was not - the whole thing was just another ordinary MLM scam.

What is Melaleuca aside from being a main ingredient in Tea Tree Oil? A new age MLM targeting people looking to work at home using "green" environmentally friendly catch phrases to ship to your home Walmart quality products at Macy's prices.  No insult intended to Walmart or Macy's intended.

Your post is right on!  Please read my 10/8/14 complaint; this company is bad news.  They make the scientologists look pleasant.

Melaleuca

I did not say anything about the eye shadow which by the way contains talc another thing I wa told was not good, however, the EYELINER specifically dark blue eyeliner Sei Bella has both of those ingredients in it.  I used it prior to really looking at it and I was going over the ingredients with a nurse friend of mine and a holistic healer -

I was actually trying to getthem involved with Melaleuca - can you imagine how foolish I felt pitching them this line about "green'" safe natural and to go into the site and red this - OH I know I was told never to tell anyone that I was trying to recruit the actual name of the product or let them read all the ingredients - now I know why - I only wish the guy who recruited me was as honest as I was with my friends.

Eye shadow

Not sure which eye shadow you used. I picked the first one on the Melaleuca website:  Twist-Up Eyeliner – Deep Bronze. the product label is online.  I did not see shelac on the product label. I also did not see ferrous ammonium ferrocyanide, but I did see ferric ammonium ferrocyanide, and the FDA has not issued a warning about this product.
