Rosemarie Zizzo, the Internet Terrorist and the fraudulent P-CBS.ORG

Rosemarie Zizzo is a cat breeder that has a grudge against the world. Yes, as much as she attacks them, she is one of them. She has put up her website to attack everyone she feels attempted to expose her bad breeding practices and dishonest business practices. (Check her page Give credit where credit is due)On her website p-cbs.org she has elected herself president, secretary, treasurer, and chief executioner. Why you ask? Because no reputable breeder nor any sane person, wants anything to do with her or her website where she spews libelous accusations in her attempt to get back at everyone that tried to help her or that she has ever done business with. If someone does join her organization, when they figure out what she is like they are soon running the other way as fast as they can go.

She bred cats for more than 15 years although it is questionable what breed exactly she was working on since she had several. Persians, Oriental Shorthairs, Siamese, Himalayans and who knows what else. But she always claims to be a newbie. Is that because she could never get it right? She is just a backyard breeder attempting to make money to supplement her income of SSI, which she receives for being mentally incapacitated.
She never seemed to understand her responsibility to the cats or the people that she bought her cats from, nor the ones she sold her kittens to. She cheated them all.

One of her first cats, more than 13 years ago, was a Siamese who died of cancer at the age of 4, having been in the possession of Zizzo since a kitten, she expected the breeder to offer a replacement. The breeder refused wanting nothing more to do with Zizzo. Zizzo has harassed this breeder for all of those 13 years over this cat. She even put her on the bad breeder's list on the website. How can a breeder know that a cat will get cancer? And why is that breeder responsible for an act of God? Or could this cat's cancer be the result of Zizzo's three pack a day smoking habit that has left her with emphysema? Zizzo does not seem to be able to move on, but continues to rail over things that have happened in the course of life many years ago, and she always takes everything very personal.

When she decided to go into Persians, she contacted a breeder in Riverside who spent a lot of time with her, and helped her out with several cats. She let Zizzo make payments on these cats. Zizzo of course never thought it necessary to finish paying for those cats. When she got tired of them and dumped them at her local kill shelter, which is against the CFA constitution, and something you promise never to do by agreeing to their terms for a cattery registry. That breeder went to pick them up. Since Zizzo's cattery has been severely infected with ringworm and upper respiratory from the beginning, and which she has admittedly done nothing about, this breeder ended up with a terrible mess on her hands. Zizzo performed this act of treason twice even dumping a pregnant cat about to deliver. When it happened the second time the Riverside breeder wouldn't let her have all the cats back and made her pay for the ones that she did take back. Zizzo should have offered up front to reimburse this breeder, since it was money out of the breeder's pocket to pay the shelter's fee, and the vet bills to get the cats healthy. But not Zizzo! Zizzo didn't think that was fair. In fact she never finished paying, again, for the cats that were given back to her and lied to another breeder about what happened to the papers for the cats, seeking that breeder's advice on how to circumvent the problem to get papers. We are not sure why she even needed the papers since she never registered any of her cats. This was part of a ploy to not ever leave a paper trail, so that SSI could not find out what she was doing and another characteristic of backyard breeding.

In 2002 she contacted another local breeder to inquire about breeding Himalayans. She stated to this breeder that she was a Newbie, implying that she was just starting out in cats. This breeder attempted to help her get started in Himalayans until she learned about all of the other incidents. Having been warned about Zizzo's past and her antics when it comes time to pay up, she was not surprised when Zizzo was contacted about the remaining payments that were five months past due on the cat she had purchased. Zizzo threw a fit, was abusive on the phone and immediately called animal control on the breeder.

The cat in question was soon euthanised with no apparent reasonable attempt to find out what was wrong and if she could be treated. Zizzo states she knew the cat was sick for 8 weeks but admittedly never took her to a vet during that time. Instead she took her to a show and championed her.

She demanded a replacement for this cat the same day she killed it, expecting to get another show quality in a different color, and upon demand. This breeder invoked her contractual agreement. Reminding Zizzo that a full necropsy be done if she wanted a replacement. By this time Zizzo had already breached her contract with this breeder many times, months prior to this incident so why should Zizzo expect anything of the breeder? The contract provided a 6 month health guarantee, the cat had been in Zizzo's possession for nearly a year, so this part of the contract had already expired. Is the breeder responsible for a cat that has not been in her possession for almost a year, and was living with many other cats in a small confined space?

Did she honor any of her contractual agreement with this breeder? Not hardly. She was told that if she placed the kitten with other cats that the breeder would not be responsible for diseases that other cats carry. Fair? We think so. Yes, she put this kitten on the floor with all of her other cats upon arrival home to her travel trailer and told the breeder so then states she would have never signed a contract like that.

Did she honor her agreement to pay on time? No, we already know that she did not.

Did she honor her agreement to take the cat for veterinarian care if needed? NO, we know that she did not do that either as she admits, the cat was left suffering for 8 weeks with no vet care ever offered by Zizzo.

Did she honor her agreement with this breeder for replacement of a cat that has died by having a non-biased facility perform a necropsy? No she did not. When reminded of this part of the contract she stated she had thrown her copy away, that is how important her agreement was to her. But she was reminded by the breeder that she, Zizzo, had taken(stolen) and used for more than a year her on her own website, that breeder's very contract, to sell her own kittens. The only thing Zizzo changed on the contract, was to add a line to every clause so it could be initialed. This is the very contract that Zizzo rails against on her site warning the public not to sign. She used this same contract again on her new site, after her suspension from CFA, with a new cattery name of Deo Favante, to sell kittens again in Oct 2004, offering CFA papers for the kittens even though she knew she could not provide them.

Not getting her way with the breeder because she refused to do what was required and what she had agreed to in her contract, she filed a complaint with herself on her website and CFA. The vet bill forwarded to the breeder, thru CFA states, euthanasia, and body disposal. No testing, no necropsy.

Two days after the cat was dead a tissue sample was taken and sent to a lab. NOT a necropsy as promised and that Zizzo lied about and told the breeder she had done.
We have to ask here, was the dead cats body still at the vet's? Or who's tissue was this?

Contract breeched again. Even this tissue biopsy report was never sent to the breeder by Zizzo, as unreliable as it is for cause of death.

Why should a breeder be responsible for a cat that has not been in her possession for almost a year, and been exposed to other cats. Where does one draw the line? How long is a breeder supposed to be responsible for a kitten that she sells? When does the new owner accept responsibility for things that the cat has been exposed to? We don't really know but Zizzo thinks it is forever!

You do not get to pick and choose which parts of an agreement like a contract you will honor and which parts you will not. Once breeched the contract is null and void and there is no obligation on either party to honor any of the agreement. Zizzo doesn't see it that way, she believes that she should not be held accountable for her promise when she signs an agreement but that the other party should. Her word means nothing and she has no intention of honoring anything she signs. She demands that the other party to the agreement honor their commitment even though she saw fit to ignore hers.

You can let us know here if you think this breeder should have replaced this cat.

Within days of this incident Zizzo dumped her cats again for the third time at the local shelter. She got infuriated when she found out the original breeders were coming to pick up their cats and harassed the shelter all day long causing the breeders to have to pay triple the amount to get the cats back. This caused the Himalayan breeder to really not want to replace the cat, even though she had entertained the idea.

Zizzo's complaint to CFA stated that the breeder had sold her a sick cat. How could the breeder have sold her a sick cat when the breeder had not seen the cat for almost a year? If the cat was sick when Zizzo took it, why did she take it? This cat was in Zizzo's possession for 11 months. Wasn't Zizzo responsible for her?
After filing her complaint with CFA she went to the BBB, and the attorney general of the state where the breeder lives.

Animal control was called 4 more times on this breeder, along with the humane society and code enforcement, AND she wrote letters to the breeder's neighbors informing them that their neighbor was a breeder and a kitten mill.

Constant libelous postings on the website, including the one that states the breeder was in jail and her cats confiscated. Not true, this breeder has never been in jail and did in fact at one time work for the police department.

This breeder is in good standing with animal control, the humane society, Attorney General, the BBB, CFA and nothing Zizzo has done has changed that, which has caused her to continue her war of harassment, non-stop.
Sounds just like a small child lying on the floor screaming and yelling and kicking it's feet when it doesn't get it's way, doesn't it?

If Zizzo cannot find something to write about this breeder then she just makes something up and posts it, or sets up the breeder with her family members acting as potential buyers and then backing out of the sale. Or she writes emails in false names to the breeder asking how many kitten she has for sale.
Zizzo also has written this breeder up for the non-return of a non-refundable deposit when a buyer, backed out of a sale at the last minute during the Christmas week. On Zizzo's new site Deo Favante, and her old site as well, she has a very strict policy regarding non-refundable deposits, and charged far more than the breeder in question. Once again, ok for Zizzo, not for other breeders.

Zizzo also drove over to hours to research and retrieve a an official court document which she has put on her site in this breeder's name but in reality is about an entirely different breeder. She has re-written it look as if it is about this same Himalayan breeder. Not so, this breeder's name is nowhere on the original document, these were not her cats nor was it her house or cattery. Nor was the breeder guilty of turning a blind eye as Zizzo states, who was not there when it happened, nor does she know the breeder it happened to, nor does she have any information about the situation other than what she has made up or is stated in the court document. Isn't it against the law to re-write an official document?

When someone makes a complaint to her site this is what the breeder must endure after Zizzo gets notified;


She will constantly check ads to see if the breeder is selling kittens, if the breeder is, she reports you to any of the following:
She may take out an ad on the same website attempting to lie about you and your status as a breeder.
She will post her lies in Internet chat rooms just for breeder's
She posts on hundreds of websites where breeders list their catteries or kittens for sale
Ripoff.com and other sites that let her post without checking to see if she is telling the truth
Letters written to the breeder's state attorney general.
Complaints to the Better Business Bureau
Complaints to CFA
Complaints to the city or county code enforcement where the breeder lives
Numerous and repeated complaints to animal control
She will invade the breeder's privacy by posting personal information such as driver's license numbers and property tax information, maps to their house and anything else she can find on the internet about that breeder, which could lead to identity theft
If she finds out the breeder is on SSI she will make a complaint there and try to have them lose their income.
She will report breeders to their state tax board for sales tax.

She even thinks she has the right to spam anyone the breeder knows, asking if they know the truth about their friend.

She posts her website libel in guest books on websites all over the Internet, daily.

She has hacked into one breeders email and sent her website info to all that breeder's contacts and friends and kitten purchasers. She also spammed every cattery/breeder listed on that breeder's website.
When she contacts other breeders she demands that you as a breeder have nothing more to do with the breeder in question, and if you do not comply, she posts your name on the bad breeder's list. More blackmail.
She steals emails, pictures, and articles from cat websites and posts them on her site without permission.
She claims fraudulently to have copyright status, trademark status, and non-profit status, but does not respect in relation to other sites. Her claims are all researchable and very not true.

Her letters are often just print offs from a complaint form that she has on her site that is almost illegible.
Her writing is illiterate, disjointed, her thoughts ramble and it is often hard to tell what she is trying to say. She lies to officials about where she lives and what she is doing.

She is not a legal organization nor does she have any official standing, she has no authority to help those that feel they have a problem with a breeder, she does not have the mental capacity to deal with this kind of thing, no training, there is no arbitration offered, so her site is a fraud.

She offers to get your money back from a breeder for you. How is she going to so this? The truth is, she can't. More fraud, do not fall for it.

Just submit a complaint and she slanders the breeder for you and reports them to every organization listed above, and blackmails them in am attempt to manipulate them and make them think they have no choice, by offering to spread her slander around the world. That is the sole purpose of her site. She does not offer truth, resolution, arbitration, allowing both sides to tell a story, she just always backs the complainant, no matter the truth. She never offers to correct her misunderstandings or mistakes. She never asks for proof from the complaining party just automatically believes whatever is told to her. The breeder will just have to live with what she decides, right or wrong. If you are a breeder and she sends you one of her demands to answer this complaint, ignore it. She will not tell your side accurately, she cuts and pastes the responses to say what she wants them to say. You are always guilty in the Zizzo court of harassment. There are no appeals, unless you pay her. That's right, blackmail. She states right on her site that if the one breeder pays her, some trumped up amount, that she will stop the harassment and lies. Is this legal you ask, probably not but since the internet is so new the laws have not caught up with technology, wait until they do, the Zizzo's of this world will be nursing their grudges in jail.


She never posts supportive emails for the breeders listed on her site. We have more than twenty emails from people advising that they have read her ramblings and don't believe her, that they have written asking for her proof. She ignores them. And when others write to her in support of a breeder listed on her site, she will not post that either. She posts nothing that does not back up her war of terror. She could at least attempt to be fair and post all sides, but that is not what Zizzo is about.
Do not contact her she cannot help you! She may even get you involved in a lawsuit for all the slander and libel she is perpetrating.

Rosemarie Zizzo is a liar, she has lied about who she is, where lives, about being a newbie to cats, about receiving sick cats from breeders, about being able to help solve problems with breeders. A thief, she stole plenty of cats by not paying for them. She is dishonest signing her name to contracts she has no intention of honoring. She is not trustworthy, most of her stories are lies or fabrications. She takes normal everyday occurrences personal, thinking that everyone is out to get her.

Her mission as she states it, is to protect kitties. Nothing could be further from the truth. No one with compassion for animals would ever dump their cats/animals at the pound. No one would let their kittens 8 weeks of age just die of an upper respiratory, no one would just destroy a beautiful cat without ever trying to find out what was wrong with it.

Please do not support her fraud, if you have a legitimate complaint about a breeder contact the registry that the breeder is using. They will help to resolve complaints the correct way, there is no way Zizzo can help you.

We want you to know here that ALL the complaints Zizzo has filed about this breeder have been resolved in the breeder's favor.

We also want you to know that this breeder is our good friend and has been for many years. We have many of her retired cats. Her cats are wonderful! Exceptional! And you would be blessed to have one. We also acknowledge here that breeders are not God and therefore cannot be held responsible forever for all things that may happen to one of their graduates.

This wonderful person is Melanie Lowry of Lollimops Cattery and she endured years of abuse by Zizzo and who does more than most to protect and raise her kittens in an environment that promotes long life and health.
