Members Only Training Members Only Training: Don't believe "Iron Clad 30-Day Money Back Guarantee! Internet
An email refers you to a website that has a highly polished presentation of a work-from-home internet marketing course that will enable you to earn hundreds of dollars by using their program to post links to other merchandisers who will drop ship the actual products and pay you for each click, many times what it has cost you. You will need no inventory or investment other than this program and a small amount of your time, and the presentation is full of testamonials from users who are making up to hundreds of dollars per hour soon after beginning the program. Being myself a salesman, I was so impressed with the sales presentation that I clicked to get the program for only, I believe, $97, then had second thoughts and did not complete the purchase; they immediately responded with another offer of only $49.95 for the same thing, with an "IRON CLAD 30-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE," so I figured I had nothing to lose and bought it. Within minutes I got a telephone call urging me to upgrade to VIP status for a now-or-never price, which when refused was reduced to only $14.95, and with the MONEY BACK GUARANTEE again, so I bought that also.
Soon after I got a telephone call from a telemarketer who was offering me a now-or-never chance to become one of a very few to receive very special treatment in the training program, and to qualify me he began asking me some too-personal questions, such has whether I had all four major credit cards. When he asked what were the limits on my credit cards, I became quite suspicious as to how that should matter to my buying at $64.90 course on internet marketing. Further, he did not give me a straight answer as to exactly how the program worked that was going to do everything for me and make me money so easily with no investment other than the course and a little of my time. I wanted to know that because from the very beginning every step entailed something else to buy that was quite expensive and had not been mentioned at the time of the original purchase. When I tried to get more information online I found that the user name and password they had sent me for the site membersonlytraining.com, the $49.95 purchase, did not work to access the site. Neither did the user name and password they sent me for the mystayathomeincome.com site work to access that site.
For my money I was getting nothing but solicitations to send them more money, so I sent them an email asking my money back, and got a response that to receive a refund I had to use the program for 30 days and then in the seven days following that I could request the refund if I had not made at least as much money as I had paid for the course. I told them I could not use the course if the user names and passwords they sent me would not access the sites, and the gentleman replied that they had given me wrong names for the websites, and he gave me a different website name. (Maybe they keep changing their names?) Of course, using the program would entail sending them more money, so it is clear to me this is indeed a wonderful internet marketing scheme, for them and not for their customers. I SHOULDA KNOWN, from clues: the advertising offered something too good to be true, you are asked to buy a pig in a poke, and you are immediately accousted with high-pressure upsell marketing without being given anything yet for your money, and you are asked to keep sending money if you expect results. Use what I have learned for my $64.90: avoid their slick marketing and do not send them any of your money. If their program was so easy and profitable, why wouldn't they just use it themselves instead of selling it to you? Also, be warned, internet schemers know how to use google and search engines to send you to blogs favorable to them.
