Merchant Lynx Services, Inc. Unethical Sales Practices and Outrageous Fees: I've Been Scammed! Lakeland Florida

Jason Bailey was the account executive who sold me a 2-year lease for a credit transaction machine. Later on, I found out that the promised 2-year lease was in fact an noncancelable 4-year lease. I would never have agreed to a four year lease, as there are many other companies that offer shorter, less restrictive leases.

This is my first experience with a credit card machine lease, and I feel as though the executive was highly misleading. Not only misleading, he lied about fees and failed to mention other fees.

My second complaint: When a technician arrived,who was to install the machine and teach me how to use it, he was intoxicated. After installation, he failed to teach me how to use it, and went to his car and fell asleep. We didn't see him for an hour. When he finally came back in, he called a representative to walk me through programming and using the machine.

To add to the misery, on two occasions, they withdrew money from my account to pay for lease fees for another customer.

I have made several attempts to discuss my lease and their failure to disclose important information regarding it. But each and every time I attempted to call them, they put me on hold for very long periods of time (or never returned to
the phone).

In addition, they promised to refund fees they mistakenly charged me. My account was credited only once.

All in all, I feel as though I have been ripped off, stolen from, and treated unfairly. It seems as though the customer service representatives have been trained to shut you up and get you off the phone. Apparently I am not a valued customer, just another one of their victims.

I hope enough people complain to the BBB and the FTC to put these scammers out of business.
