I was hired in May of 2010 to post blogs all over the internet praising Merchants Barter Exchange and the many "benefits of barter".  I was hired by Steve Bolles the owner who agreed to pay me $150 for every blog that was posted.  I was supposed to be paid once a month. In all I posted 28 blogs my first month but Bolles sent me a check only for $3,800 - and it bounced!  He claimed it was an "accounting error" and told me that he would send me a check for $5,000 every month if I agreed to be a "referral" for MBE franchises.  Regretfully I agreed (sorry but my family is facing a foreclosure and I have three kids to feed). He gave me the name of "Simon Hopkins" and I played the role of a prosperous and satisfied MBE franchise owner in Cleveland, Ohio.  He trained me what to say when investors called and I did my new job over a dozen times for him. When I did not get my check, I called Bolles and he he sent me $2,500 by Western Union and told me I owuld get the rest in a week.  That was three months ago and I am still waiting! Bolles is a bum and MBE is a big scam. I regret the day I answered his ad in my local newspaper.

Merchants Barter Exchange FRAUD is still alive and dangerous - Public Warning!

AUTHOR: Shark Hunter - (China)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 15, 2011

A year after I was screwed by Merchants Barter Exchange, I find out they are still cheating people all over America.  We spend billions of tax dollars on law enforcement and homeland security, but it appears nobody gives a rats a*s about protecting the public from predators like Steve and Marti Bolles who live in a $7 million home paid for by over a thousand victims of his Merchants Barter Exchange scam.  Is he that slick that the police can't find him or is he paying off the cops?  20/20  or 60 minutes needs to investigate these fraudsters and expose them publicly.  They all belong behind bars!

I have carefully read the original report and agree fully. Also, I have first hand knowledge that Mr Bolles stole a fork from the steak and shake casio while he was visiting las vegas. I was a waitress there at the time. Also, i was best friends with his wife Jenny and his other wife Hillary, Jenny told me in confidence that Mr. Bolles is a hermaphrodite. When I asked Hillary if it was true she freaked out and was very angry at Jen.

This guy cannot be trusted.

The general appearance of Mr. Bolles strongly resembles that of someone with Klinefelter's syndrome, when the affected individual has two X chromsomes. While many such individuals have intelligence in the normal range, there is a high incidence of psychosis. The individual is almost always sterile. The breast cancer rate is the same as among females, but when cancer occurs, it tends to spread more aggressively.

I was hired to produce blogs for the company.

I knew nothing of Merchants Barter Exchange

I was unemployed looking to make money blogging.

I only found out how dishonest the company was when

I tried to get paid for my services..

I then did searches.

I had never heard of Steve Bolles or of Anthony Donnelly.

They said there were both Christians with high ethical standings!

According to you post, you entered into an agreement to defraud potential investors and now you're complaining that you didn't get paid for your fraudulent activities.

Did it ever occur to you that someone who would hire you to be dishonest might not be very honest themselves?

I don't imagine too many people will lose much sleep over your report, with the exception of those who may have been scammed by your actions.
