I just received a collection letter from a Ken Hughes in regards to an old debt from Sears. This account was sold to NCO Portfolio Management years ago. I know the statue of limitations has run out on this. We bought our house in July 2005 and I just recently ran my credit report and it was not on there. I guess I need to run it again now that I have this letter to make sure if they did an inquiry on my credit. They gave me three different options to pay this. What should I do?
