I am current employee for Merchants Credit Guide. If you receive a call from Ken Hughes, HE DOES NOT EXIST. This is a fake name for to let collectors know that someone is repsonding to letter or call. Ken Hill (AKA)Ken Hughes is the vice president of operations. I must stated that ALL of these debt are past the statue of limitations and can not be reported to the credit bureau as valid. The letters that is mailed out are very misleading, it states to contact the MCG within 30 days or the debt will be assumed valid. This is a very affective trick to get debtors to call in who is worried about their current credit reports, who panic and pay. Most of the files or accounts have very old addresses and are missing critical information such as complete SSN, names, and original company creditor. Most of the info is fished out of the debtors by the collectors.

NEVER verify not even the last four digits of your social security numbers. ALL incoming calls telephone #'s are recorded or logged on the accounts. Always state to the collectors that they are calling the wrong the number. THERE IS NO DISPUTE DEPARTMENT at MCG, so do not any dispute letters with your current mailing address.

The owner of MCG is Dan Buress and Mike Frompknect who are millionares from deceiving consumers and the public. Our office is a corporate sweat shop fill with 80% of african americans who verbally abused all day because they are harrasing people while the owner play golf and use scare tatics on their employees about being fired every day. Nothing scares these owners more than the threats of lawsuits, so please give any collector who call you a local number to any random attorney office in your area.

Do not bother asking to speak to a collection manager or diclose the nature of your call to get anything resolved ask to speak directly to Dan Buress, Mike Frompknect or Ken Hill.
