I used this company for credit card processing and then received an advance to help start up my small business. The require you to use a processor by the name of North American Bankcard. NA Bankcard withdrew thousands of dollars from my account in "error" numerous times, If I was a bigger business I may not have caught it. I did receive most my money back but I then reported them to Merchants for Capitol explaining that I no longer want to use NA Bankcard processing due to them withrawing my money I'd like to mention along with those withdraws there were times they actually emplited my bank account casuing overdraft fees and bad report with many usual clients of mine, I never did get comphensation for humderd of dollars of overdrafts due to their error. I made many phone calls (NA Bankcard was rude and lied and strung me along for months) after much yelling and me threatening legal matter I was allowed to pay back the advance without using the NA Bankcard machine and once my advance of $2000 was paid back I was no longer in obligation to Merchants for Capitol or NA Bankcard. I sent back the machine back via mail and cancelled the account..fyi what Merchants for capitol doesnt tell you or list on their contract is you are in a contract with NA Bankcard and if you do not call to cancel you will be in an automatic lease with them. Anyway I figured this out called to cancel and mailed back the machine. Now a year later I am being threatened from NA Bankcard debt collectors saying they never received my machine I mailed back. They tell me the machine is worth $900...you can buy one for $50 I checked, and also say I owe them an additioanl $1000 for not cancelling my lease. They are telling me they will be taking legal matter. This is outrageous and I know I am being scammed. Apparently Merchants for Capitol customer service mentioned they checked and my machine was never received meaning I think the two companies are one and the same. I will be attemping legal advice on my own..Never use them. Ive recently read reviews online and there are numerous scams reported with their names...do your research and avoid all credit card processing companies they are the worst enemies of any small business!
