Methodist North Hospital Methodist North engaging in elderly abuse and theft. Memphis Tennessee

I am filing this on behalf of my grandparents, William and Alma Phillips.

On June 17th, my grandmother entered Methodist North Hospital's emergency room. When she went in, she had her dentures in her mouth. By the time the family managed to see her, they were missing.

When my grandfather sought to find her dentures, the nurses first lied about them being missing, then proceeded to mock and insult him. When he went to management, they did the exact same thing.

Both of my grandparents are 79 years old. My grandmother is diabetic and has dementia. Due to the massive incompetence and corruption at Methodist North, she can no longer eat solid food, as she does not have her dentures. The lost dentures have been priced at about $2800 at local dentists. Again, they are elderly, and do not have that kind of money to spend to replace them. This is nothing more than abuse of the elderly, and outright theft.
