Metro PCS is THE WORST company in the world to deal with! No matter what, do NOT do business with them if you have a choice. They treat all customers like like they are scum of the earth. There are no real people to talk with when your bills are wrong and if you don't know your password, too bad, so sad. They will NOT tell you under any circumstance what it is. Then after 3 hours listening to maddening recordings, you may get some idiot overseas on the phone who speaks no English and who seems to enjoy treating you like dirt. Metro PCS can't get their billing right, although now I am convinced that is THE PLAN. The plan seems to be to RIP-YOU-OFF, then treat you like scum and then continue to miss-bill you intentionally and drive you insane in the process. All I can say is that you either have to be crazy already or insane to do business with this company.

I went to a corporate store where a security guard stands alert while people are screaming at the top of their lungs at the brain-dead service people and you wait, and wait, and wait, and wait (1.45 hours the last time I went there) and listen to screaming and more screaming. Then they have the balls to actually CHARGE YOU EXTRA TO PAY YOUR BILL THERE! That is a joke!

They have already turned off my service for no reason (their mistake), incorrectly billed me numerous times, sent me threatening text messages that they intended to turn me off and all I did was add an additional line. So much for that bright idea. I am LIVID!

I think that this company should be forced to close-up shop and leave the business to honest companies that can provide some customer service. Also, if they simply rip-off and con people out of decent service they should be arrested.

Lastly, the least they could do is hire AMERICANS who need work. The company is truly UN-American in my book and I intend to disconnect my service from them immediately. I HATE METROPCS with a passion! Their lack of service is HORRIFIC!

Metro is the best..

I had 3 lines with t mobile they were charging me "extra charges" text messaging...re activation fees if my phone got shut off for forgetting to pay...20 per line...that's 60$ just to reactivate...then I tried to leave the company they charged me 200 per line plus a 700$ phone bill to top it off...that's 1300$ to leave the company..ok so I paid it 6 months latter I look at my credit report they charged me 300$ for a phone I returned..they said they never received it...ahhhhh then I found metro no extra charges...tax is included...want to cancel a line no problem no questions asked because they know you'll be back! 25$ for my phone line really....that's it no extra charges! I commend u metro the customers will back you up...your doing a great job..keep it cheap and you'll keep your customers! As for you who is not happy with metro...I think you should go to TMobile...I hear they have a great promotion going on! ;)

metro pcs is the best.. plain and simple.. i pay 50.00 a month and i love it.. before metro pcs i had sprint for 4 years and they ripped me off every chance they got.. so buddy you go ahead and leave metro pcs to go somewhere and sign a 2 year contract..so they can slam you in a** whenever they feel like it...

Some of your comments are outrageous. You called this company un-American because they do not hire only Americans? Sounds like you added your political views instead of good leveled report. I have been a customer of metro since 99. Before that, I was a Sprint, Verizon and Att customer, but got tired of being over charged for everything. Give credit that metro pcs has come a long way. They are competing with big companies now, notice how Sprint and Verizon are jumping on the pay as you go and unlimited business. I will address some of your concerns:

Customer service: metro demographic targets clients that can't afford or want to pay outrageous money for using a mobile phone. Big companies charge sms, mms and internet by usage. Metro does not. Unlimited. So metro makes money on selling phones, not as much as providing service. Unlike Sprint, where they give away FREE phones cause they make money on your usage. So their main demographic clients are different of that of Verizon. But that too is changing, since they now offer flashing of phones and smartphones....so metro will need to up their customer service. By the way, are you aware that metro won the JD Power and Associates award for customer service? http://www.prepaidreviews.com/blog/metropcs/metropcs-takes-home-top-customer-service-award-35394/ In other words, customer service is there to activate you newly bought phone, help you pick your plans- like at a fast food place- go in there ask for a value meal...unlike a restaurant. And I have NEVER had to wait 3 hours for customer service to pick up on the phone. The most I had to wait is 10 minutes...so I am not sure why that happened on your end. Oh by the way, your metro pcs password is your birthday. So if you don't know your birthday, then metro sure can't help you. I commend the reps for not telling you either, you know, that is how people get their service changed...you are told of your password when you activate your phone. And if you don't remember, you set up a security question...maybe you forgot that as well. So that fell on you. And now a days, who doesn't use overseas help? Name me one company doesn't use it? That remark as well as un-American company on your part made you sound like a bigot.

Paying your bill: yes, they charge you $3 if you pay at the desk. Some banks still do that as well. And two dollars to use their atm like machine outside- but that belongs to another company that charges that fee. You are not charged if you pay online or if you just drop off a check or money order in their drop box...did you know that??? And their "threating" text are reminders of when your bill is due. Metro pcs does not send you paper bills, which helps the environment, but if you want it instead of text bills, just requested, and they can even send you emails...but I think they charge $1 per month. As for my bill, for the last 10 years it has not passed $52 dollars! My last bill was $48 and that is including these freakin high California taxes!

Do consider using metro pcs for small business...it is simple. You don't have to worry about passing your minutes, being overcharge for mms or internet usage...seriously. And unlike this person who sounds like he/she might have given those poor metro pcs customer reps a really hard time, I love metro pcs!!! I am currently using a Sprint HTC smartphone flashed to be use on metro pcs and I love it!!!
