My son and I have applied for Education Grants.
I've really been wanting to finish my nursing school seeing that I only have five classes left.
My son on the other hand is just stepping into school and needs grants for everything. His College fund was taken by his biological other half and never herd from again. (That is a whole other story).

On 9-5-06 I sent in 449.00 for myself and 449.00 for my son. We both had to fill out a questionair seperatly. The man that I first talked to said all I have to do is put everything on paper like a business proposal and send a letter along with the proposal, when I send back the questionair that they sent us. They promised us that it would take eight to ten weeks to find out the results. If we were not excepted we would get our money back in full.


This is when this whole night mare began.

Like I said I sent everything in on 9-5-06.

On 10-20-06 we received both receipts showing that they (MGR)had received our papers and money.

Eight weeks passes and no one contacted us. I called and talked to a rep. who stated that everything was fine and that I should give it a couple more weeks because they had an overwelming turn over.

By the end of January I was getting a bit upset but still tryed to keep an open mind. I called again talked to a rep. who stated that he was looking at our files on the computer now and that we were going to receive the letters no later than the last day of Jan.

I have called ever since than, pretty much on a regular basis, only getting reps. stating that they do not understand why we did'nt get our papers because on the computers it states that we were accepted to be helped 100%. Four reps have told me this four different times, but no one could give me solid answers.

Now in March Ive been trying everyday to contact someone only to get a recording or Mr. Bright who told me that he would follow through on this himself, because he really dos'nt understand why this is taking so long. He said that he would call me back that night.

The week of March 19, the phone systems were down to " TO BETTER SERVE US".

I have been calling every day, every half hour on the hour leaving message after message to contact me.

March 28, 2007 I was calling again every half hour and finally got a person on the phone; only to tell me the story about Mr. Miller. He was the Manager for a year and didn't do any work and is fired now. Another man has taken over and is over whelmed by the work so he is helping him to catch up on the work.

He had told me that he would need to call me in two days so that he would have time to look over my file and follow through on everything. I told him that I don't understand, " Four reps told me that we were covered 100% and that all we were waiting on is the money". He said that they had no rite in saying that to me. He promises that he will call me with answers Friday March 30th.

Today has come and gone.

The way they explained it to me is that, they are brokers and that they are the ones that file the paper work for the grants to the government. If we were to do it ourselves we are running the risk of getting fined, if we fill out some of the paper work ourselves.

PLEASE EVERYONE who has gotten taken by this company, we have got to stand TOGETHER and get JUSTIS once and for all. I'm willing to get an attorney, but its going to take ALL of US to stand together. These people that are taking us for a ride need to be stoped and pay for all they have done to us.
