Michael Ziegler, Zack Ziegler, Benji Ziegler, and Dr Cleve Ziegler Apartment Rental Frauds, Professional Scammers on AirBNB COTE SAINT-LUC (MONTREAL) QUEBEC

I was scammed by these 3 brothers: Michael Ziegler, Zack Ziegler, and Benji Ziegler who rented my place for 10 days on AirBNB in Montreal city, using their father's Dr Cleve Ziegler credit card. They claimed to need the place for business, but it turned out they were using it to host wild parties. They left me with a trashed apartment, broken furniture and unpaid rent. I had to invest in extra fees such as cleaning the mess and repairing the damages before my next guest arrived.

I'm still horrified by how these 4 scammers (the 3 brothers: Michael Ziegler, Zack Ziegler, Benji Ziegler and their father Cleve Ziegler) ripped me off. I obviously heard about horror stories regarding guests on AirBNB, and I never really thought it would happen to me... but here we are. I want to share this story so that everybody knows not to deal with these 4 scam artists!!!

Zack Ziegler Scammer 

Here's my story on how Michael Ziegler, Zack Ziegler, and Benji Ziegler, and their loser father Dr Cleve Ziegler destroyed my property.

I've been renting my place on AirBNB for now many months and never had any issues whatsover. The guests I've had have been very respectful and courteous. They always follow the house rules that I set out for them and leave the place in a tidy condition.

I'm also able to be flexible with my rental terms, which is a great help when it comes to finding people who genuinely need accommodation. I often get last minute bookings, which I'm usually happy to accommodate.

Benji Ziegler Scammer 

Overall I've had a positive experience with AirBNB... this is until I made this HUGE mistake of renting my place to these 4 scammers from Montreal city in Quebec, Canada:

• Benji Ziegler from Montreal city, studied at McGill University
• Dr Cleve Ziegler from Montreal city, who works at Elena Medical Center on Decarie st

Dr Cleve  Ziegler Scammer 

The booking mas made under the name of Zack Ziegler, from Montreal. He didn't have any reviews, no positive ones but also no negatives ones neither. I accepted his booking, and boy do I regret this decision to this day. When he visited the place, he was 1 hour late. No big deals I thought, but as soon as he arrived I started to suspect something fishy about him and regretted giving him access to my place. He had this overall awkward and weird way of talking and kept asking bizarre questions. He came with his 2 brothers: Michael Ziegler and Benji Ziegler & they also gave me bad vibes.

There was nothing I could do at this point but hope for the best, since I already accepted the booking and here we are. Also, Michael Ziegler was somewhat passive aggressive and overall impolite. I was afraid of his temperament. The only way for me to cancel the booking would be to turn them down on the spot, but Michael Ziegler had this overall irritated vibe and kept having this aggressive stare. I was really afraid of him, he didn't look at all like a civilized person. Zack Ziegler & Benji Ziegler on the other hand only looked like idiots... and later as professional scammers from Montreal.

They said they needed the place for business and I was a bit suspicious but decided to give them a chance. It turned out that these 3 brothers were hosting wild parties every night, full of people who hadn't been authorized by me. They were also using drugs in my apartment, again something that I had forbidden in the house rules.

Two days later, I receive a call from the Montreal police SPVM telling me they're in my apartment and need me to come ASAP. There's been an incident and needs me to come in person.

Long story short, these 3 scammers brothers hosted an illegal party filled with booze, weed, and random people. My listing clearly states that this is in a quiet neighborhood so we don't want rowdy or loud people. It also clearly states that you're not allowed to consume any alcohol or drugs on the premise.

When I arrived at the place, I was shocked and angry at the same time. There were not 1 or 2 police cars, but 5 of them with their sirens. All my neighbors were outside looking at the commotion that these 3 scammers: Michael Ziegler, Zack Ziegler, and Benji Ziegler did.

Zack Ziegler was intoxicated on what appears to be ilicin drugs, he was laying on the floor in handcuffs. Michael Ziegler was in handcuff, naked and crying like an animal. Their little brother Benji Ziegler was also high on drugs and arrested immediately. He was in a police car outside, seemingly passed out.

After I explained to the police that I don't personally know these 3 criminals, and that I'm just the apartment owner renting it out on AirBNB, they took Zack Ziegler, Michael Ziegler, and Benji Ziegler into custody for questioning.

I was very angry and I asked the Montreal police SPVM why they did this. It turns out that these 3 brothers rented my place on AirBNB using their father's credit card Dr Cleve Ziegler, from Montreal city. They strategically planned this entire set up to have an illegal party in my house and it worked.

I'm still in shock and can't believe I let this happen. If only I did more research, or if the AirBNB platform had stronger security measures, I wouldn't have been put in this position.

The worse part was that after 10 days of doing whatever they wanted in my place, I found out that their father, Dr Cleve Ziegler had paid for the rent with a credit card and it had been declined. He turned out to be a scammer as well! The 4 scammers never payed me anything, not even a fraction of the rent money and left my apartment in a total mess. I had to invest extra fees such as paying for cleaners and repairman due to the damages they caused.

Thankfully, the police SPVM was able to apprehend all three brothers and they're now facing charges of illegal partying, destruction of private property, and public disturbances.

It is a very unfortunate situation and I am still in the process of recovering from this whole ordeal. My advice to all AirBNB hosts out there: always be extra cautious with who you rent your place to! Do more research and don't just accept anyone that comes along.

Be safe and stay vigilant.

Michael Ziegler already had a criminal record for using fraudulent credit cards. He's a phony wannabe lawyer from Montreal, but overall he's just an aggressive loser with thin skin.

I'm now in the process of suing Dr Cleve Ziegler for the fraudulent transaction he placed on AirBNB renting my place, only for his 3 criminals son to destroy my place. I got a call from his wife Josie Gold who tried to reason with me, she explained me that Dr Cleve Ziegler is someone with mental illnesses, and that he did to the 3 boys: Michael Ziegler, Zack Ziegler, and Benji Ziegler, exactly what the king of pop MJ did to kids. Poor family! What a mess! They really are a bunch of lunatics.

Josie Gold the hussy 

Dr Cleve Ziegler's wife tried to negotiate with me the amount I was claiming in the legal letter. I told her to tell all 4 of them that the only way to resolve this case is to pay me back in full and they will have to face the consequences if they don't. She offered me a "deal" in exchange of me not suing her husband Dr Cleve Ziegler. She said she was a swinger and is very comfortable with her body, so both her & I were together when nobody else was present at 6819 Ashkelon, Cote St-Luc QC H4W 3W4. She did her part of the "deal", and I'm now very pleased with that special "deal" Josie Gold had in mind for me. I felt young again, it was great, & consider this matter resolved.
