I was also a fraud victim of MIchelle Wendell and her company Chic Little Devil. Thanks to a kind victim here at ripoffreport that was also ripped off by michelle, she was able to get us all the information to be able to file a complain with the Santa Monica City's attorney. When I check, Michell is up to her old ways again and ripped off some lady from over seas for close to $1000. I was the one that started this ripoffreport when I first fell victim to her. The statue of limitation in California to file a claim would be 4 years. Now my 4 years is coming up and I've deicided that since she and her company is still ripping people off, I can no longer stand by. I'm originally from So Cal now here in canada...I'm heading to LA for a business trip and have decided to stay a little longer to file a law suit against Michelle Wendell I still have the envelope that she had sent me along with the custom's form that was filled (Content stated "documents") and all our email transactions.
Now I know that not all of us will be able to go since majority she ripped off are not in North America but else where but I have contacted those already that were ripped off and had sworn affidavits and proof of what had happened to them. If there are more here that would wish to join me please message me and let me know. I will be contacting Paula Rockenstein who is in charge of this case. She was very helpful in taking my statements and proof of fraud on Michelle the last time when I contacted her. The amount of money that Michelle Wendell and her company have ripped all of us is large enough to be constituted as a felony in the state of california.
Let me know before the end of October 2010. Thanks and hopefully this will stop. I also contacted a good friend of mine who's a reporter for KTLA and he stated that this is a good story for them to do. He has to submit the request and get approval for the story but I think with all our proof and it being overseas fraud and her stating that she deals with celebs (no A list for sure) is a good story base for him.
Please remember when you contact me make sure you have all the proof (ie correspondence with michelle, tracking number, paypal transaction, etc) so I can give it to Paula. Thanks all.

Funny how after all the negative feedback they SHUT DoWN the Ebay store and so-called were going to make a "new improved, E-commerce store"
"after 11 years we have outgrown Ebay"-YEAH RIGHT...YOU HAD SO MANY COMPLAINTS that you had to shut down your ebay store!
Better yet, if you go to Chiclittledevil.com, you'll notice that it says the new site should be up and running within 1-3 weeks....IT HAD BEEN ALMOST TWO MONTHS ALREADY AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED (same message on the site).

We are trying to make things 100% RIGHT with you here, not sling mud and accusations, which is completely counterproductive!!!! As I said, when we sell 700+ items per month, it is not outside the realm of possibility that things can unexpectedly go wrong with the mail. The VAST majority (again, 99%) of our ebay store clients have a perfect 5-star experience. We want it to be the same case for you.

Hi there,
I completely understand that IF you are infact just an employee working for Michelle Wendell. I have ALL the email transactions that I had where MICHELLE WENDELL HERSELF responded back to me. I'm not the first person that received an envelope full of papers. I have the custom form which was filled out stating that the content were "documents". I thought that maybe your company or michelle would learn that taking people's money is a BIG NONO. Especially overseas. I'm not threatening anyone...to go file a class action civil claim isn't a threat. So I suggest that you figure out what "threat" means before you throw that out there. I was offered a refund if i changed my neg rating to a positive which I did. And, low and behold, Michelle didn't hold up her bargain. All I can say is we'll see what the judge will say about it. And being that chic little devil and Michelle Wendell is in the public forum and stying celebs? TO be that dishonest and just blatently have such disregard to buyers is unacceptable. Don't think that just because we'lre overseas we can't protect ourselves. I've offered up so many solutions to your company and Michelle to make amends and I've figured that i'll chalk it up to experience but for your company to screw people time and time again, I simply cannot accept it. Remember, just because you sell items over seas doesn't mean that those people that you guys screwed over is going to just let it go.
First of all, Michelle (and yes I say Michelle because I spoke with her over the phone and have numerous email correspondance with her, including where she is going send me a cease and decist letter from her attorney to me for what I have no idea) has not only defrauded ebay and paypal by sending me envelope full of papers instead of goods, but committed mail fraud by committing such act and if the tally of the amount of dollars that were defrauded by her are accurate, by the state of California, the charges could be classified as a felony. Now Ms./Mr. employee, what do you suggest me to do for you guys to write this wrong rgiht?
Balls in your court as I stated if this matter doesn't get resolved I will file a civil claim and with my supporting notarized affidavits. Do no wrong and your life will be simple.

If i am understanding you correctly, you are saying you had a problem with our EBAY STORE 4 YEARS AGO CORRECT??? You also state that you have previously filed another report on this site about this problem; so now you are filing an ADDITIONAL, new report about something that happened 4 years ago!!! that is quite unfair, but the bottom line is we 100% always want to make any customer service issue right, right away!!
For the 5th time (as mentioned repeatedly), Michelle has NOT been involved in managing the ebay store for several years. we have a full-scale customer service team. we want to make this 100% right with you, no matter what it takes.
In the past 4 years, the following changes (ie: customers service improvements) have been put into place....
1. 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE.
2. FULL OPEN-DOOR RETURN POLICY, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
3. We have a full-scale 24 hour customer service team. Every email we get is very promptly addressed.
4. We have over 990 out of 1,000 clients leaving great feedback (ie: 99% positive feedback). this speaks volumes since we sell sometimes over 700 items a month on ebay!!! We have approximately a 99% GREAT FEEDBACK RATING ON EBAY FOR OVER 11 YEARS!!!!! you can not argue with that. ebay is very very strict about these ratings and about good customer service.
We are a close-out store, and many FULL-PRICE web stores (such as Singer 22) do not even have return policies, and all sales are final. We are NOT like that. We take anything back for any reason...and trust me that is NOT always easy for us...we have received things back after they have clearly been worn (in which case we can't sell them again), they have the tags off, they have been damaged, or they are NOT even the same item we sent out. WE ALWAYS ACCEPT IT AND SAY "THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT" and take the return anyway. It is not right that we should have to live in fear of fraudulent customers doing this to us and then filing a rip-off report if we don't refund them....but our reputation is IMPORTANT to us...in fact, it's all that matters, so we stand by our full open-door return policy of client service.
If you do indeed have a problem from years ago, ALL you have to do is email us anytime 24/7 via ebay (if you can not see how to email us via ebay, reply to this and i'll give you the direct email), and we will ALWAYS get right back to you. If you have a problem, i invite you to email us TODAY and we will immediately make it right, whatever it takes!!
I see a huge problem with you involving yourself however in other peoples' transactions!!! This is unfair, you do NOT have the full story, and you honestly do not know what you are talking about. I am dealing with a woman right now who is overseas yes and we believe that her red dress was taken out of her package in Slovakia (since the newspapers that replaced it were NOT in english). i am working on it with her and i talk to her EVERY day. We are doing everything humanly possible to work this out, and we have also involved ebay and paypal. i am standing by my buyer 100% of the way, just as always when they come to us. :)
just as with any online store, people do occasionally have questions or issues. what raelly matter is how you handle those and we stand by our buyers 100% of the way, which you will see if you just READ 99% of our amazing feedback from loyal clients who have shopped with us for as many as 10 years running!!!! :)
You are making false threats and slanderous statments in a public forum and it's completely inappropriate and criminal. If you have something you need handled by us, please be in direct contact with us asap. If you have something you want to take up in a court of law, please have someone provide us with information on that. What is NOT ok is to take criminal measures that leave you liable to be sued, slander people, and talk about transactions that you do NOT know about and have no insight into.
Again, we have a 100% customer satisfaction policy if you just CONTACT US via email!! We will do what it take to always make things right. Moreover, we have 11 years history with 99% of people leaving us glowing feedback, we have clients who have purchased from us for years and years who are very loyal, and we have a customer service team who is always there for our buyers!!!
Sorry if you are upset (i have offered to make it right if you get in touch), but you do not have all the facts and you are trying to lead an in-vain witch hunt toward a business who has not done anything wrong, and who is eager to help people and clients when they need it.
