I received a check for almost 4000.0 saying that this was to pat taxes on a 129000.00 winning. I was told to deposit the check and let John Mathias know when the check had cleared. I did so, in hope that i had truly won. I've entered alot of online contest. I called today and told him that the check had cleared. he told me to withdraw $2999 plus 150.00 and take it to western union and send the 2999 tojoyce anthony @ 34 chester rd london england n176by in a envelope with a green top and a yellow and white bottom, then call him back when the transaction was done. I have not sent it. I suppose the scam is to send the money and then find out that there was a problem with the check at which time, I will owe the full amount of the check to my bank. I was very excited, as was my wife to have won 129000.00! We are both disabled so this was a God-send. It turns out, it was just another scam.
