Received a phone call from man with Middle Eastern accent stating he is calling on behalf of Microsoft regardng a computer virus that was reported and traced to our IP address. Offered to walk me through removing the virus. I asked for name (Roger) name of company (Micro Tech Support) and call back phone number (800-231-8573- registered to a trucking company). He said his employee ID is 412. Csller ID registered the person as calling from Tops Market, 585-335-4717.

MICROSOFT does NOT make unsolicited phone calls offering to help or repair computer viruses!!!

The scam call was made to our New Port Richey home phone from a LANDLINE registered in the Rochester, NY metro area.
