We contacted multiple Shipping Companies to get the best quote and reliable services to transport my Audi from Chicago to Hayward, CA. Mike Anthony III (Phone 631.387.4560) from American Speed Transport with his email address autospeedship@gmail.com quoted $797.

We spoke on phone and Mike confirmed that $797 is all-inclusive charges to ship the car. We decided and confirmed the dates of shipping. Mike asked us to pay $195 as advance which we paid by credit card. 

Just before the car pickup, we called Mike to confirm that the remaning amount ($797 - $195 = $602), we will be paying to driver by Cashier Check. Mike told that we owe full $797 to be paid to the driver who will deliver the car. We were shocked.

Mike cleared that the $195 he charged us, was for his fees to find the Driver and Carrier. This was NOT told to us; on phone Mike promised that it's ALL-inclusive and we pay total of $797.

When asked Mike, "Is this the way you do business?".....Mike cunningly told that there in nothing FREE and we signed the contract to pay $797 and his $195 was on top of $797 to find Driver + Truck. This is completely deceiving. 

Mike was so rude that he told me that I can't do anything because I signed the contract. Yes, the consumers sign the contract based on good faith and the promises made on phone...and not by saying something on phone and putting something else on papers!!

I want that the Company should make it clear to consumers that people (like Mike Anthony) when sending you quote, will charge for Shipping + separate charge for finding Drivers. Hope the companies (they are working under different names) will take appropriate action to protect the Consumers from being deceived. 

BEWARE: Mike Anthony III (Phone 631.387.4560) from American Speed Transport will give you an auto shipping quote with low shipping rate and on phone will tell you that it's all-inclusive. He will ask you to pay deposit money. That deposit money is for Mike to find Driver + Truck. You pay full money in the Auto Quote to the shipping driver. Your deposit money is NOT really deposit money, it's for Mike to find driver for you!!

They just use various different names but basically they are out there to get your deposit money to find driver and you pay FULL amount in their auto quote to driver + trucking company which is totally different than any of above. Just be careful and watch out.
