On June 18th 2007 while my Husband was on duty in Iraq & as I lay dying from internal bleeding in a hospital bed in Wheeling WVa, our Townhome in Virginia was robbed & vandalized. A lot of stuff was taken from Us, some of which the Hampton Police recovered, the large items were recovered that is. We still have cash, jewelry, dvd's, music cd's, handbags, unopened wine bottles and little stuff like that still missing. We've been with State Farm for years now, have never filed a claim for anything except for auto accidents in the past, and that was with our car insurance, Nationwide, NOT State Farm.

This woman, Jana Harrison, Claim Processor, 1-888-736-2713 ext 5030, contacted us August 16, 2007, and notified us that we would get $5177.42 towards our claim, along with the replacement cost value on items we replace. I was very unhappy with it. My Husband accepted, and pointed out that we will file the replacement cost coverage on EVERYTHING we replace & see to it that State Farm reimburses us appropriately. So I finally accepted, and we thought that was the end of it. 4 hours later on the same day, August 16, 2007, this same woman, Jana Harrison, Claim Processor, 1-888-736-2713 ext. 5030 phones back, tells my Husband that the check will be cancelled, that they aren't paying us anything because the Police department told her that they returned ALL of our belongings. When my Husband asked for the name of the person who said this from the Police department, this Jana Harrison, Claim Processor refused to give that information, only instead she began accusing my Husband and Myself of filing a fradulent insurance claim, and how it was against the law, we would goto jail, face a fine, etc. They haven't bothered to find out that I was out of town, had been for 2 & a half months, my Husband was out of town, had been for over 6 months, and that the Property Manager told the Police Department that they had secured our Townhome when in fact, they hadn't. When I finally was able to get back to Virginia on July 3, 2007, I found the kitchen window, the point of entry, STILL OPEN! So for weeks & weeks, ANYONE could of been in and out of my home, we know already that numerous people had been in and out of it, and State Farm has now turned our claim over to this Mike Feltes, Claim Representative, Special Investigation Unit, State Farm Fire & Casulty Company, 1-888-411-4185, ext. 5004, and this human, is demanding copies of our credit reports, banking information, rental, property, all financial, employment, all places of residence, medical, business purchases, you name it, this human is demanding it from Us. We have nothing to hide, could care less about him checking our credit, however my medical information? Information about whatever purchases I've ever made, or my Husband has ever made? He is also demanding that this other person from State Farm comes into our place of residence this Friday, August 31, 2007 to take pictures supposedly of the point of entry, where the missing item's are, the vandalized items, etc. No big deal for that either, however they are head-hunting, they have made it plain and clear in all of their actions via the telephone & letters they have mailed to us as well. And to top all of this off, the check this Jana Harrison, Claim Processor, 1-888-736-2713 ext. 5030 said she was paying Us? Was received by Us on August 18, 2007. So tell me this isn't all a set up? Tell Us they're paying first, then not paying, is turning the tables around and going to investigate US, then sends the claims check to us after all. We are being victimized all over again, first it was the ignorant little pukes that broke into our place, then by whomever else helped themselves to our belongings until I got bacn home, and now finally, the last straw, State Farm Insurance Companies. What a great way to treat a United States American Military Enlisted Serviceman who was on duty in Iraq serving this Country along with STATE FARM, this Mike Feltes, Claim Representative, Special Investigative Unit, 1-888-411-4185 ext. 5004 and Jana Harrison, Claim Processor, 1-888-736-2713 ext. 5030, while His Wife lay in a hospital bed with internal bleeding, dying, and this Servicemember unable to get home to her! What a WONDERFUL way to treat this Countrys Armed Forces Personnel & their Families. This sends a great message to all of us in the Military community. You can die serving this Country, and ALL the resident's & business's in it, Your Family can die or be deathly sick, but don't you DARE come to State Farm Insurance Companies because You're home was victimized! Oh and by the way, in the meantime, do You know State Farm has had the audacity to send us mailing after mailing after mailing wanting our business for life insurance, auto insurance, banking, getting a home loan thru them, etc!!!! We have contacted the Insurance Commissioner for the State of Virginia and are in the process of filing a complaint, however if there is an Attorney out there that can practice in the State of Virginia, and who would like to get 60% of a claim against State Farm and would like to take our case, feel free to contact Us, we're very interested in carrying this as far as it can possibly go!
