I am being seen by a pain manegement doctor for  MS and Back Problems.  I lost my insurance at the first of the year. I have to go to the doctor every six months for routine check up  and they require a urine screen to make sure you are using the meds and I am sure to see if anything else shows up.  I told the doctor that I lost my insurance so they said they would send it in self pay of course they didn't. Quest Diagnostics sent it to BCBS of course ws denied as I no longer am insured. So I recieved a bill for over $1100.00 for this simple service. When I wrote them a letter they offered to come down to $ 562.83 Really for a $10 test. No wonder insurance is so high with rip off companies like this.
