My wife called and prior to that wrote an email to Anne Brennan and also an Alyssa Baldwin who works in obits. She desired something for her grandfather who has passed a year now, and then I desired something for my mom and dad who are living for their anniversary. She never got a response from anyone until she wrote a review.

Then Anne emailed her right away. Odd that Anne waited for a review before she did anything. She got the memorium for her grandfather taken care of by a women Betty portier who imo is the rudest woman. I had to hang up when I myself was dealing with her. She would talk over me and was all huffy. My wife showed me the initial memorium write up where February was spelled wrong, she was messing up with grammar and this is a woman who works for news media publications but can’t spell or check her grammar.

My wife then gets an email from kaitlyn who said the anniversaries are used on a template and when they have enough of them, they’ll publish them in a Sunday publication. When if they actually read or listened to us we stated we wanted to write our own even if we had to pay. Nancy Olesin said the dept for that was a number where no one answered or got back which is not surprising because they stalled with the bbb too.

They constantly gave differing answers and different individuals that you looked like an idiot calling the people they said did that when in fact they did not. If you got upset with them on vm or email they took issue with it but they have no problem giving you the runaround for one month now. Ask for reviews to be pulled only so they can lie and then of course get upset when they’re thrown back on.

Gatehouse never did their research bc Betty portier was rude to me where I hung up on her and she then harassed my wife’s job when I made it clear that my wife was done with trying to get info for my parents thing. But that’s ok? This lady is rude, she talks over you, should not work for the newspaper with that attitude and then they wonder why we had an attitude. They’re liars.

They tell you one thing , it’s the wrong thing. Take no blame but i wouldn’t expect anything less. Stay clear of them because they have no Grasp of how to deal with the public imo and are clueless with one question.
