My grandaughter,who is 12, sold items to obtain a room for 4, for 2 nights in Myrtle Beach for a cheerleading competion.

When she was presented the cetificate for the rooms, I proceeded to make the reservation and requested and additional night at my expense. The form has now been returned because I did not list a spouse. The form was filled out in my name because of my grandaughter's age. I have now received a letter that they cannot honor the certificate because I listed no spouse.

The National Cheerleading competion is 3-19-04 thru 3-21-04, at this time there are no rooms at the hotel we requested, and none close to where the competion is being held. As a matter of fact there are 2 widows that are attending, how was that addressed for a room?

Now, I have to inform a 12 yr old that she cannot attend, because we have no place to stay. She has worked hard to make the team, compete, fundrasing, etc. Now what?

Who do you contact to redeem our voucher? All you get is a recording or a web site that will only send you additional brochures.

I wish they were the ones to look her in the face and tell her why she cannot go to Myrtle Beach.
