Mission Animal Hospital Dr. Ibrahim, Dr. Kim, Dr. Parks Butchers!! Mutilators!! Untrained gold diggers!! Palmdale California

 We took our dog to Mission Animal Hospital in February 2015. He needed surgery for bladder stones. Dr. Kim (although several Drs. Claim to be responsible), performed the surgery. Whomever performed the surgery butchered my dog. They re-routed his urethra and sliced through his p***s. A year later he now urinates from 3 separate locations. The surgery was completed at 11pm and we were told to retrieve him before 9:00am the next day. Upon picking him up, they distracted my husband, telling him to bring the car around, and they would bring him out to the car. A woman saw my dog being carried out by a vet tech, wrapped in bloody towels. There was so much blood on the floor, they sat the dog down long enough to mop up the blood, then proceeded to wrap him in the bloody towels and place him in the back of the car. No post-op care or instructions were given. Once home, he was bleeding profusely! We called Mission back. They continued to say it was normal. An hour later, pools of blood and clots all over, we took him back. The nightmare started then! No vet or anyone would speak to me. I contacted the news. They refused to talk to them. I sent a letter to the Antelope Valley Times. I was bombarded with similar stories of malpractice. Michelle, an office manager for Mission called me and insisted I call the AV Times and revoke my story or she'd be forced to "revoke" my discount!! Extortion! First, there was no discount!! We paid in full for the dog when he was picked up. I told her I was coming down to retrieve my pet, and going to take him elsewhere for care. When I arrived to get him, Dr. Parks came in and insisted the massive bleeding was normal! I said I disagreed. He replied, "I don't care." We left with our dog. Due to the media attention, hundreds of other stories came out. We started doing protests against Mission with animal organizations locally. Meanwhile, my dog was examined by a vet who contacted me after seeing the story (several vets contacted me after the story was published), apparently, unbeknownst to me, Mission had already developed a reputation for abusing and maming animals. My dog has lost a massive amount of blood and was suffering severe infections. He also had stones remaining in the bladder and would require reconstructive surgery. It's been a year this month, and the dog is still not fully recovered. I continue to be contacted by emails and messages by other clients who have suffered losses at the hands of these butchers! I'm not familiar with veterinary licenses, but dr. Kim and Dr. Parks licenses posted in the office say "foreign veterinary medicine." I've spent thousands to help heal my dog. According to California law, you cannot commit mail-practice on an animal because they are considered property. Dr. Ibrahim gets away with hurting and abusing animals. I was even approached by employees of his who claim the vets throw the dogs on the floor, they eat while performing surgery, and they don't sterilize their equipment. All I can say FACTUALLY, they abused and named my dog for the rest of his life. They tried extorting money from me. They lie, and cheat to cover themselves. I have heard (from other vets) their vaccines are not "just vaccines". I've spoken to animal rescues and foundations who have revoked funding. My advise is to strongly warn you against taking any pet you love, here!! It's not worth the "low-cost" spay or neuter or "low-cost" vaccines. It's hit or miss. You may get lucky, but eventually, your luck will run out! Mine did. Stay away from this practice or ANY practice under Dr. Ibrahim's ownership!!
