Mission Settlement Agency - Alpha Settlement FRAUD The company lead me to believe that we were helping people get out of debt and they arent. Brooklyn, New York

I worked for Felix L out of the 367 Ave X office for a few months this year. I was hired immediately on the spot and was given information and 'script' to read and memorize and was  told to come in to work the next day.  I really had no formal training on the matter and since I had no telemarketing experience I was even more reluctant about this company already.  We read thru some information for about an hour and Felix went over the company info rules and things we needed to say. We then were put on the phone to make calls and do what we would be doing everyday. People were nasty on the other end of the phone saying "you people call here everyday looking for this person, they dont live here, or you called 5 times already today, or they would curse me out. That was my first day, i should have known not to go back. I went home very upset after being called a F***ing A****le on my first day by a customer.

I had to wait a month to get paid. I wasnever told how uch i was going to be making, anywhere from 8$-12$ an hr. I am college educated almost with a Masters Degree. making anything less then $12 an hr is unacceptable. Everytime I would ask Felix how much I was getting paid it was either pushed to the side,  left unanswered or ignored.

We were not allowed to talk. Not one bit during our day. Laughing was out of the questions, and on the days that we were quiet or tired, we got yelled at for not being excited and happy.  Who would be happy working under these conditions? We worked in a basement, with no windows, smelled like garabage and bathroom 24.7, was never cleaned for over 3 months because he was cheap. We had no lunch room, we ate in a seperate office with no table. we had to sit and eat on a couch. We are thankful we even had a microwave. A young lady brought in to the office, she was getting rid of it.

We were told to say that this helps your credit build back up.
That this is the best thing for debt.
We settle on 55 cents on the dollar.We were told to tell customers to close all accounts and stop paying on the,m.
We collected their ssn personal information checing act numbers cc numbers. and collected their payments from them and put their monies into a bank Note World Bank. until there was enough accrued in there to make a payment on a card, meanwhile not paying on the cards and causing more damage to that persons life and credit.

Anytime that we had questions about the business they were always left unsaid. Never answered, and if they were, we got the run around and never a direct answer, if any. and I believe he got into a very big argument with a manager about how things were run and they had a few words and he more or less fired him.  All for asking a question about how or why something was done that way.

The forms and contract that they email to you to sign up is very wordy and thats where the scams are. Not only do they charge a $49 monthly fee which they say is for the bank, but on my papers i have it says its for administrative costs, so which one is it?  They close on an account for 44 cents on the dollar, what happens to the 11 cents? does the client get it? No mission takes it, along with the 49$ fee. they are making out like bandits.

I cant even begin to tell you how fraudulent they are.  I am very thankful that I postponed giving them my personal information for them to have. I never once recieved a paystub with my paycheck. we got paid on different days for differenet amounts bc the pay day always changed along with the bonus struccture, seemed to change with the amount of money he won or lost while in atlantic city over the weekend. the rules changed more then i changed my underware, to the point where you didnt know what was right or wrong to say or do anymore.  We were treated like n**i's at a n**i camp. No food or drink at desk, no talking, no laughing, no joking, always getting yelled at to work when we were, only had a 30 min break sitting and being on phones all day making 900 calls a day is very boring and laborious as is. we got yelled at if we went on Not logged in and took a bathroom break or let our ears relax. Funny because Felix is Jewish.

We were paid off the books and have to fill out a 1099 at the end of the year. They didnt even have to report that they were making money! never got a printed check. always a hand written "starter" check with a very low number that we had to cash at Chase bc no other bank would cash starter checks. never any stubs so we have no record of getting paid bc he made us cash them on the spot when we got them. He still owes me money as well as a few other of my coworkers who have left to go on to better jobs and a few who are still there, he is shafting around with their money. Always an excuse for him not to pay what is owed.

I would call leads provided by Experian credit bureau with individuals having 10k or more in unsecured debt, and 620 and less in credit score. After doing my research there are absolutely no guarantees in this business as far an exact settlement before hands. In the script it also said that this program would help peoples credit scores because we are eliminating their unsecured debts, meanwhile this program would significantly harm their credit scores.

The following artical is a rip off report that indicates Michael Levitis was involved in a mortgage operation previous to his new venture debt settlement aka Mission Settlement Agency aka Alpha Settlement as another DBA. He would hire employees, let them build a pipeline of files, and terminate their employment to gain the commissions. This article states that an employee of his deliberately misled the client about the program. 'What kind of people are working for this guy"? If he carried his company like this doing mortgages for clients, What kind of debt settlement company is he running? His debt settlement company has been in business for about 8 months now. Guys BEWAREEEEEEEEE. They are crooks, con-artists, and they will be coming for your money.Ladies and gentlemen enrolled in the Mission Settlement Agency or Alpha Debt Settlement program beware and go contact your local attorney generals office.
