In July of 2003 at the tender age of 21 i desperately needed a car. So I went to Shoreline Mitsubishi becase they guaranteed that they could get me in a car. I had my mom cosign for me. Months went by and low and behold on the local channel news 8 the d**n company was being staked out by the FBI.
COme to find out they were adding baloon payments to people's account, using other people's identities for cosigners. I am currently in a law suit against them but all the dealers in the area are aware of what they did and no one wants their car. So if my lawsuit is not up by jan of 06 my car will be repossed unless a pay a $7000 baloon payment.
I spoke w/an attorney handling the case and was told that I actually wasn't slammed that bad compared to others. I do not care though. i have an overpiced car and cannot get rid of the d**n thing. I am stuck with this monster and will end up paying more than i bargained for it. Oh yeah did I mention they added on a service contract that I did not even know I had. I sent a letter to cancel it but it is still there.
