MK Supplements Fraudulent Charges on American Express Bill April 2009 Mill Creek Washington

I encountered an unknown charge for $89.95 in my April 2009 American Express bill from a company known as MK Supplements. I disputed the charge with American Express stating that I had not made any purchases with this company and that I had not received any product from them ever. AMEX filed the dispute and contacted the vendor and I was provided a generic description that I had purchased two bottles of health supplements (they could not identify what specifically it was I supposively purchased), and there was no copy of an order form or anything provided stating what exactly I had purchased.

I recontacted American Express and the vendor both (got a recording and left a message) so that I can get a credit for this fradulent charge.

This company has a reputation for spamming on the internet, but being an information technology professional I cannot figure out how they got my credit card # unless the AMEX database has been hacked into or another site where this card was used was insecure and was obtained fraudulently in which case closing the account should correct the problem.

In searching the internet, I found this site where other people have been victims of this scam.

So beware you may also find fraudulent charges on your AMEX bill from this company!
