MONTEREY POLICE UNLAWFUL SHAKEDOWN OF CRAIGSLIST SELLERS
Letter to Monterey Mayor:
[DELETED]
Dear Mayor Della Sala:
I want to file a formal complaint against Monterey Police Department. I attempted to file a complaint yesterday with Monterey Police Department Supervisor, Mahyar Roohbakhsh, however, he refused to accept my telephone complaint.
Yesterday, I was publically assaulted and battered, publically humiliated and defamed, falsely detained, my property illegally searched and seized, and my privacy invaded by Monterey Police OVER A $3 NECKLACE I owned and sold on CraigsList!
There never was any probable cause for Monterey Police’s illegal search and seizure of my property which blatantly violated my Fourth Amendment Rights.
Monterey Police publically humiliated me and treated me like a criminal – guilty until proven innocent. The U.S. Constitution was thrown out the door by these bullies with guns with an agenda to perform unlawful shakedowns.
An attorney informed me late yesterday that there are three (3) other Craigslist seller victims all within the last ninety (90) days - same modus operandi.
That, now, makes four (4) victims within the last (3) three months – a clear pattern of police abuse! FOUR VICTIMS (and those are the ones that have been brave enough to come forward, there might be dozens more!) When does it stop, Monterey Police?!
Monterey Police’s terrorizing tactics have caused me all of the following, including, but not limited to: loss of sleep, exacerbated health problems, stress, mental and emotional anguish.
I plan to take any and all necessary legal action against Monterey Police Department, the individual officers, and City of Monterey for their egregious, ongoing harm they have caused me. I also plan to take this information to the media to request a full investigation of Monterey Police.

But with the wondeful detail and what appear to be rantings of a...well let's just leave it at that I am not surprised that they refused to take your TELEPHONE complaint.
On the off chance you have a legitimate complaint how about posting some actual details about it.
