In November, we lost our garbage pickup for 2 weeks. The manager says in a letter that they weren't aware that their contract was up...I guess she forgot that it comes up every year at this time? Now she has had to sign a new contract making our garbage bill go from $6 to $22 a month. The rumor is that they didn't pay the bill, so seems to everyone who lives here that we are now having to repay the money they didn't pay even though we have already paid it in our monthly bill.

We don't have the option to take care of our own garbage so are forced to pay these inflated costs. Regular garbage pickup in Dickinson, according to residents living in houses, runs $11 per month with the same company. You don't dare go against her as you might get kicked out. The State of Texas needs to step up to 21st century and stop tyrants like these.

In our last rent statement she says we need to step up our hurricane repairs yet she sits up there with her fence down exposing all the mess outside the office and even still has windows boarded up. One home on another street even has a live power line in the back yard from the hurricane and it's only a matter of time before a child is injured because of it. It is the park's responsibility to repair it. Most of us figure they are going belly up, so if anyone out there is thinking of moving in, be prepared.

Every time we get a heavy rain, we flood because she has let the drainage go to grass. All the driveways on the original streets are in sad need of repair, but she says that's the tenant's responsibility as well as keeping her trees trimmed.
